Decent router, could be better
Works well, easy to setup but considering the price point, one would expect better range. Signal strength goes down by 50% with just 2 walls.- Easy To Set Up
- Slow

- easy to use software
- works especially well with netgear adapter

Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700)
Netgear doesn't leave much to the imagination with its product names. Take the Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700): its full name lets you know exactly what you're getting.- Dual-band operation works very well
- fast 5GHz operation
- USB port for sharing storage devices
- content on USB drives is accessible over the Internet
- Couldn't use USB devices to serve media to our PlayStation 3
- Web interface needs a redesign -- enough with the frames already
A fast, well-featured router, but its range is only average. There's nothing shy about Netgear's range-topping WNDR3700. Although it has no protruding aerials, it measures more than 200mm tall and 150mm wide; fortunately, its glossy finish and LEDs aren't intrusive.
A fast, easy to use, dual-band wireless router for homes and small offices

Netgear Rangemax WNDR3700
It wasn't much of a contest: Netgear's WNDR3700 V1 retained its crown as our Best of the Best router with spectacular TCP through-put, a strong feature set, and an even stronger price/performance ratio. It's the second-most expensive router we tested, but it's worth every penny.- Awesome price/performance ratio
- DLNA-compliant media server
- dual guest networks
- traffic meter
- No USB printer sharing
- traffic meter can't limit on a per-client basis
