weak signal compared to others
I bought the dual band because of the proximity to other wireless routers. While it works "OK", other routers fill up the bars ( these are in other residences nearby). Mine gives me 3 out of 5 sitting right next to the router.
Works great in medium-size apartment
Have had no issues with this router, which I purchased to replace a five-year old model (also from Netgear). Easy to set up. Supplies WiFi to my iPad and iPhone in a medium-sized apartment.
Wrong info
The product description clearly states 'version 2.0' which is a more capable router than the version 3.0 that is shipped. I'm very disappointed that we don't receive what we order. Otherwise, the router is doing its job.
