Cons:
- Couldn't use USB devices to serve media to our PlayStation 3
- Web interface needs a redesign -- enough with the frames already

Netgear WNDR3700
There's nothing shy about Netgear's range-topping WNDR3700. Although it has no protruding aerials, it measures more than 200mm tall and 150mm wide; fortunately, its glossy finish and LEDs aren't as intrusive.

Netgear Rangemax WNDR3700
It wasn't much of a contest: Netgear's WNDR3700 V1 retained its crown as our Best of the Best router with spectacular TCP through-put, a strong feature set, and an even stronger price/performance ratio. It's the second-most expensive router we tested, but it's worth every penny.
