This miniature USB wireless network adapter from Netgear (the model number is WNA1000M ) only projects about 6mm out of the USB port, so in most cases you can leave it permanently plugged in.

I bought this adaptor for my kids laptop to boost the wireless signal. The internal wireless card was too weak and it lost internet access in other parts of the house. This adaptor gives a strong signal no matter where the laptop is in our two story home.

Staples in store delivery was excellent. The NETGEAR G54/N150 WiFi Mini USB Adapter (WNA1000M) would not work with Windows 10 and we were very disappointed. The product return process with Staples was excellent.

Nice product. Easy to install. I found no issues like signal drop or slower speed as mentioned in earlier reviews. May be that is because my modem is also of Netgear. I will recommend this product.

This one is ultra-small size makes it best buy for old pcs to work in Wi-Fi mode. Less cabling and works great on LAN.

Good optiona dn good range

The only negative about this product is that the "head" that sticks out of the laptop is longer than the picture shows. Other than that it is and performs exactly as expected for a reasonable price.
