It's ok
Sometimes the connection is good but more times then not it loses connection. I have 90 download and 10 upload so it's not my speed. This product is about 50 feet from my router.
NETGEAR WN3000RP Wi-Fi Range Extender Single Band N300, 1 x LAN Port
Easy-peasy, and does the business.
There wil some or the other network issues, either Extended Wifi issue or No router connection Issue. DO NOT BUY this product.
The product is not good. The set up is easy if you refer to the booklet. But the product is not good. On setting it up itself, it created problems for me. When I turn it on the next day, the client LED didn't turn on.
Extends network but slows down the speed
I wanted this extended for the third story of our house, where the Wi-Fi speed was slow. I installed it using the web-browser method and my laptop - I thought this would be easier than the button method, but it actually took me about 10 minutes.
It's a massive pain in the neck to set up and since upgrading to the Netgear N600, it doesn't even work at all. Avoid.
Pure Junk
Modifies the MAC address of devices on the extended network (against the rules for MAC address assignment) before passing them on, making dynamic IP reservations a pain.- Will extend your wireless network...for a while...until it quits working and needs a reboot
- Locks up - after a few hours to a few days
- completely stops routing packets from the extended network to the primary network
- requiring you to unplug the device to reset
Complete Waste of Money
I decided to purchase this "range extender" and I had trouble immediately from set up. I tried contacting NetGear and after spending around 4 hours on the phone with their technical support I got absolutely nowhere. A real waste of money. Very upsetting.
Useless!
My experience with this product wasn't what I was expecting. My wireless network is running all NetGear equipment and runs really well, but I had a minor dead spot that I needed to resolve. This sold itself as the perfect solution. It wasn't, it in fact gave me a worse signal than the router alone.- Nothing

WN3000RP 11BGN 2.4GHZ UNIVERSAL WIFI RANGE EXTENDER
Waste of money. I will a slighly used one for $25- small and easy to plug in
- it waorks only some time
- When it does it does not extend the signal enough to be worth the money
- I did a speed teat with and without and no significant difference
The Netgear 3000 extender did not work
the Netgear 3000 extender did not noticeably improve our wifi range. We had houseguest from Italy and San Diego who wanted to use wifi in the back bedrooms. The base wifi unit was in the front of the house, with the kitchen and its metal appliances in between.
