Netgear R6200 Wireless AC 1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router IEEE 802.11 ac/b/g/n
- ONLY 4 ETHERNET PORTS AND NO ACTIVITY LIGHTS??? - You have GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! HOW did you manage to screw up here? In the past your products have been superior in pretty much all aspects. WHO was the idiot who suggested this and have you given ANY thought to an EARLY RETIREMENT for him/her???
Pros:
- Sorry NewEgg about the delay in posting this review, but I've been on an extended vacation and just got back
- HI EVERYONE!!
Cons:
- - PRICE!!! Where did you hide the Gold Plating? While this is a GOOD Router
- it is STILL TOO EXPENSIVE considering the CONS I listed below

Jury still out
Replaced failing 3 year old router. Had high expectations for netgear based on sales associate recommendation - "noticeable faster, better connections than 3 year old technology."<br /><br />Certainly not the case.
Pros:
- Easy To Set Up
- Fast
- Fast Connection Speed
Cons:
- Unreliable connection

I believe the router will suit most people's needs. It does give a solid wireless signal.
Pros:
- Good signal strength Good Quality-of-Service Supports WPA2 encryption Has an Access Point mode Has a sleek design
Cons:
- Signal strength not the best Bugs in the firmware

Outstanding range, easy to setup and install
I have Comcast Cable modem with wireless at home but found that the range did not cover the entire house and had issues of wireless dropping connection on a regular basis. I bought the router to get the better range and better quality signal.

Good, but needs to be better
This router is great for the home that has no NAS or large network stornage needs. I have many devices (wired to a switch - TV, tuner, Xbox etc) that use an network connection. They all had the best through put I have seen on a wireless device in ages. If you need internet access, great.
Pros:
- Great signal strength
- easy set up (under 15 minutes with customization
- plug and play for getting going
Cons:
- If you have an NAS that does not connect with a USB, dont bother
- The media services are ONLY via USB, not by the rj45 connections
- This made my iTunes library useless (2Tb of movies, music and TV shows)

netgear r6200 router.
Definitely works better than previous net gear router that has quit after approx 3 years. Was hoping the range would be a little better.usually works from office to living room,50', not on the deck just 10 more get. The pull from other devices on definitely effects the range.

Netgear R6200 keeps rebooting itself
Netgear R6200 keeps rebooting itself every few hours. If you look for this problem online, you will see that many are having this problems with this router. It's a shame, because it works really well when it doesn't decide to have a mind of its own.

Get ready to open your wallets for tech support $$$
This router was pretty good for about a year. Then one day it "Spazzed out". I spent several hours trying to reset it without success.
Pros:
- When it works its ok
Cons:
- Paying lots of money to get help when it's not working
