Top of the line
Incredibly easy to set up. It significantly improved the coverage at my place. True, it's more expensive... but I bought it to support a NAS. Definitely worth the extra cost if you're in the market for digitizing your media.

This product has great features
I am on Virgin media 200 meg service , I use to get an average of 206 meg now I get around 226 .. But it`s the interface I like , and the speed of access , uploading files to the usb.3 interface .. I also can share files on the cloud easily with no fuss ..

No complaints with family of 10!
Going on 6 months and never had to reboot from a failure. My 13 son games all the time on 5g frequency with no issues. Running 7 voip phones, 6 being at&t wireless. 23 devices on my network. Not sure how you'd have a problem with this unless your technically incompetent.

Can I get one that works
I first purchased this router only to return it the following day (after a full wasted day of troubleshooting) and had it replaced. This second router has now failed after two months, now have to return again (after a further four hours of troubleshooting). Not sure I want it replaced now though...

Perfect Router
Nighthawk X8 R8500-100PES Tri-Band Quad-Stream Wi-Fi Router Is really boon for me as it is easy to set up.It giving me very good quality & good wifi speed.Even my brother brought seeing it's qualities.

Pathetic
I installed it the evening I got it, it worked perfectly. Next morning it kept flicking on and off and was totally useless. Doesn't help that they don't even provide you with a diagram for the various lights, let alone a something to enable trouble shooting. Perhaps that would be too many pages!

Big difference traffic wise in my house compared to the isp provided wifi/router. no more collisions or dropouts so far. still exploring some of the features for future use.

I was expecting quot;wowquot;
Optimium told me that I needed to restart my router so often is because of all of the items attached to it. They suggested I purchase a Nighthawk router to alleviate this problem.

NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router (C7000)
I've had this modem/router for a year and I've had none of the issues that others are reporting. I did have a bit of trouble with Comcast when I was activating it but I had the same problem when I activated my previous modem so I believe the issue is with my account and/ or with Comcast.
