Pretty easy setup, pretty fast, good range. I thought it was a bit pricey - but not horribly expensive. Died between 5 - 6 weeks. Could be a fluke, but it took time, energy and money to replace and re-setup. That bumped it DOWN to 3-stars rating.

Iwas definitely under the impression that this router could provide signal throughout my 2 story home. It was better than my old netgear router but I still had to purchase a netgear range extender to cover the further points of my house.
Easy To Set Up; Fast; Fast Connection Speed
Dissappointing Coverage
If you have any router experience, just enter 192.168.1.1 into browser, type "password" without quotes is the initial password and your in. The software portion is not needed. Router auto updated to latest firmware. Setup is a snap, will auto detect dynamic ISP providers.
4 Wireless Ssid; Easy To Set Up; Excellent range; Fast; Highly Compatible; Improved Bandwidth; Low Ping Rates; No dropped connections; Secure; Wireless Onoff External
none
This router has successfully served as the backbone of a 30 device network with ten users. It was running DHCP up until recently (before moving to a dedicated server) but rarely had any issues.
- Tonnes and tonnes of settings; - Full of features; - Solid dual band; - Guest network works properly; - Doesn't choke on high traffic; - Looks great; - Customizeable
- Large size, - Router has to reboot for even small setting changes, taking everything offline, - Free support is only offered for 90 days; After that it's paid; Luckily I haven't ever needed it
The worse technology for an expensive device, after the setup it lost the configuration in less than one week, I did it again twice, all my cameras and devices was offline several times, it wasn't my provider issues, I'll keep my cheap and stable router tplink, it's just 1/3 of the NETGEAR router...
Hands down this thing is worth every penny turn your slow internet into a machine it's actually not Comsuck that is your problems it's the shitty Router they give you. Plug this thing in and a couple easy set up steps and your net is flying always!! All the time! I promise!!
Works a lot better than my old router.Easy to install, good range, setup was a breeze.I bought this because my old router kept disconnecting, not a problem anymore.
It's not often we see a router that's as exciting to look at as its specification, but the Netgear R7000 Nighthawk is one such device. As implied by its name, the R7000 Nighthawk takes its styling inspiration from the F-117 Nighthawk stealth plane, even down to the shape of the aerials at its rear.
There is little to dislike about this unit. I found the installation easy enough although instructions were very basic (I am a beginner). Wifi speeds appear to be good, although I am only sending the signal around a small house and cannot comment on distance of the wifi as I have not tested this.
Definitely looks the part, smooth, slick, stealth like appearance. The UI is clear, concise and exactly what you want it to be. Handy apps for your tablet and phone give complete control. The 5Ghz wireless network gives superb speeds, definite improvement for my Shield Tablet in console mode.
