A very good price for a managed 10/100/1000 switch, making it suitable for a small to medium sized network in the place of a standard "smart/unmanaged" switch. Configuration is very simple and can be used "out of the box" until you decide what and if you want to tune on your network.
I have used these on many jobs and with out fail prove to be some of the best switches. Easy to configure and very durable in life of the product. Speed wise I cannot complain, they preform well for the application used. definitely one of my go to products.
We bought one of these GS724T units back in 2005 for a backend network for servers (dual NICs) in the datacenter, to keep backup and management traffic off the public interfaces. All 24 ports are in use and backup traffic gets pretty heavy at night.
Reliable under load
Web admin interface can be flaky
Works great as expected. I faced some challenges in resetting factory defaults but it worked after initial hiccups.
Good value unit that does what it claims to do
None
For small and medium sized businesses looking for performance this is a great unit at a great price. Setup is quick and easy with good instructions. Product also had a good web interface for management make it easy for a network administrator to manage.
Whay can I say............turned up when it was supposed to, works fine, good value for money - altogether a good service, will use Misco again in the future.
