I really don't get the low ratings this is receiving...I use this in my living room to feed my PS3, a DVR and then to another switch to feed two DVR's and a computer. I just plugged in the wires, powered it up and everything was online and fast.
Manufacturer: Netgear

product game super fast, in excellent packaging, no issue with product at all.
The product has worked well since being put into use
This is the fourth unmanaged gigabit Ethernet switch I've added to my home network. I much prefer wired to wireless (WiFi) connections, even if a device has both capabilities, because a wired connection is a lot more reliable.
Figured I'd spend the extra [$] for the gigabit switch.
Easy To Setup; Fast; Plug Play; Reliable; Small
When I was recently in the market for a Gigabit switch, I was unable to justify the price of a managed switch from the likes of Dell or Cisco. This switch is nothing fancy, just a name brand 5 port Gigabit switch.
Inexpensive; works as advertised
No cons come to mind
Found the purchase price of the product very good and easy hook up. Much better than the older model I had. I recommend this to other buyers.
if your a gamer this hub is for you.you can use it to share files play lan games and much more. you can also set a great home network.
This switch worked very well for me for 2 years, service Gigabit Ethernet to all my devices. Easy set up, nice look and good value makes this a good product overall. However, after about 2 years of near-constant use, the switch would suddenly stop working, requiring a power reset to start working...
It was simple to change and is working grets
