Good product and features.

The Netgear router has a easy setup menu, lots of useful features and good security built in. When used with the Netgear genie app then its vey easy to see and control whats connected to your network. The features make it very security conscious and its easy to block suspicious activity.

Avoid

Absolute rubbish, constant processor lock ups, long boot time, poor airflow. Go with *unable to mention competitors but lets say they rhyme with 'aye, Zeus'* or a basic modem-router from your ISP.

Read this before you buy the Nighthawk

I purchased as a Hot Standby for BT Modem and Netgear DGN 2200N router and jto increase my WiFi range - the D7000 is "for a large house" and DGN2200 is for a "small house" - so the Netgear website states.

Great product

The best thing I can say about this product is that after a couple of months of using it I have forgotten all about it. Now we have no issue with Internet access anywhere in the house so we don't ever think about it.

NETGEAR NightHawk D7000 Dual Band AC1900 ADSL/VDSL Gigabit Modem Router w/ 1 x WAN & 4 x LAN Port, 2 x USB 3.0...

I got this router to replace my older netgear as I needed a VDSL compatible router. THe great thing is this router is also fibre compatible so double win. It was easy to set-up, came with all needed cables, RJ-45, network cable, power adapter.

Netgear D7000 Modem Router

With the rise in availability of high speed fibre broadband, the likes of BT and Sky - to name just two - are desperate for your custom and are now...

Effortless setup and installation; Huge array of features; Very reliable connection; USB 3.0 Ports; HDD backup and remote access

No range or speed improvement over a HomeHub5; Not the cheapest in its class

Bought this on Sunday and I'm returning it on Thursday after 3 days of frustration. It refuses to connect wifi to any of my devices. STEER CLEAR. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
