Arlo Pro 2: Returned mine. Very poor night vision (would give 0 stars for that). Online support service gave "copy-paste" answer, even when I had given them the firmware and hardware version of the camera, they asked it again in their return email.

easy install. Very long battery life. 3 weeks on and it has consumed 11% of battery. recommended
Arlo is the first security camera I have ever used. It exceeded my expectation. It was easy to activate using home Wi-Fi and get 3 cameras working. I have been using the system for 4 months and it detected every human and pet movement within the detection area.
A great performer when used indoors with a subscription, but overly pricey for that scenario
Wireless; weatherproof; good video quality; intuitive app
Many features not available when used wirelessly; expensive; Many features not available when used wirelessly; expensive
I use the term ‘successful' because NETGEAR is a master marketer. They have smick marketing material, lovely point-of-sale, copious positive blogs, and multiple nice websites. You buy because of the brand recognition – not because it is superior to other offerings.
• 1080p video and 720p stills are reasonable quality when you can achieve it
No compelling reason to buy it over other brands; except perhaps the brand
With the massive growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), sales of devices to secure the home have become increasingly popular. Companies like Google-owned Nest and now Amazon-owned Blink are battling it out to produce smaller and easier-to-use cameras that can be placed around your property without...
Strong magnetic mounts for waterproof cameras; Web interface offers high levels of control; Free cloud recordings for up to 7 days; Built-in siren
Base station difficult to set up with some routers; Cameras need to be charged using lead and plug provided; Quite an expensive set up compared to other brands
I have had this arlo pro 2 for a little while now and I give it 4 stars it's an amazing thing and the best wireless system I have ever used love it the only reason it never got a full 5 stars is because the voice or speaker feature where you can talk to people the other end of the camera is very...
After a recent break and enter at our property decided to look into security options, spoke to sales staff and did my own research finally deciding on the Arlo 2 wire free. I am a 69 year old pensioner with moderate technical expertise but had the whole system installed, positioned and functioning...
The Arlo Pro 2 is an expensive piece of kit, but it's hard to think of any missteps it makes along the way. The footage it captures is excellent, the motion and audio detection works well and it's pleasingly flexible.
Battery powered; Sharp; 1080p footage; Seven days free clip storage
Expensive
The wireless cameras linked quickly and were very easy to install due to the magnetic way they connect to their mounts. 7 Day recording via Arlo cloud is free for up to 5 cameras and helps keep track of the recordings made. Very pleased overall with the performance, battery life and ease of use.
