Whilst an excellent game and very well put together, you may need to have an interest or at least a knowledge of basketball before purchasing. Though maybe technically superior to FIFA, we all know FIFA and football, which means that this game often gets overlooked when playing with friends.

Despite a few minor irritations, such as the odd bug in a MyCareer training session or a slight oddity in the animations, NBA 2K17 is basketball at its absolute finest in gaming terms.

There is a particular recipe that only a fair few gaming connoisseurs know how to utilize properly. Year in and year out 2K Games proves that it knows exactly what it's doing with each annual release of NBA 2k, and 2K17 is no different.
