Moto G6 review
Now less than £200, the Moto G6 is a fantastic phone combining great design, specs and software, and the G6 looks and feels much more expensive than it really is. You get a decent 18:9 screen, fingerprint scanner, dual cameras and long battery life to boot.

Motorola Moto G6 Review
The unlocked Motorola Moto G6 offers overall solid performance and surprisingly good camera capabilities for the price. When the Moto G5 Plus launched last year, it brought a compelling combination of capable hardware and an affordable price to all the major US carriers. The new Moto G6 sticks to the same recipe for success. Available for $249 unlocked, it too has solid hardware, support for the four big carriers, surprisingly good dual-sensor camera capabilities, and a refreshed design for a more modern appearance. It's a great choice for the price, though if you value battery life over image quality, Motorola's G6 Play trades the extra camera sensor for a colossal battery and a lower price. Design, Features, and Display The G6 might be the successor to the G5 Plus, but it takes its design cues from the Moto X4. It has a curved and reflective glass back, dual rear camera sensors with a slight hump, and a fingerprint sensor on the front. It adopts the modern 18:9 aspect ratio to minimize bezels and make the phone easier to hold. Overall, it's a very attractive look for the price. Similar Produc...

Moto G6: Full, in-depth review
If you’re someone who doesn’t care about more-intensive applications like mobile gaming and photography, it’s difficult to think of an easier standout budget device that the Moto G6. Nobody’s saying that Motorola’s flagship Moto Z and its MotoMod ecosystem aren’t compelling in their own right. But they’re not always the easiest smartphones to actually recommend. Often, they’re as exciting and innovative as they are uneven and under-specced.
Pros:
- Great price-point
- Superb build quality
Cons:
- Not great for games
- AI camera features a bit finicky

Motorola Moto G6 review
The Motorola Moto G6 is more of the same for the series. But when that means a great value phone that makes almost all the right design choices, that’s only a good thing. A glass back and 18:9 screen make the G6 seem not just “current” but unusually high-end given the price. And if you miss the days when Moto G phones cost well under £169, the Moto G6 Play is right there waiting. The Moto G6 doesn’t just step on the toes of more expensive phones, it stamps on them.
Pros:
- High-end design at a low price
- Good performance
- Fantastic value
- Solid camera
- Phew, it has a headphone jack
Cons:
- Camera needs to be a mite faster
