pretty good

The only reason for buying this was because of the arcade stick. It gets hard to get used to but since you can assign buttons in the game it isn't so bad. Otherwise it is the same game as the cheaper version.

Comes with arcade stick

XBLA Review - 'Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection'

For the first time ever, the original Mortal Kombat arcade trilogy - Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - have been brought together into a single collection.

Review: Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection (360, PS3)

The main reason to buy this game is if you're a nostalgic fan from the early 90s who wants to relive the series' infancy, or someone who has been holding out for that elusive combination of arcade-perfection and button configuration in an Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 release.

Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection

During a time when fighting games tried to copy Street Fighter 2, one challenger to the fighting game crown chose to go in another direction. Instead of having hard and light attacks, there were high and low attacks; instead of using well-drawn animated characters, there were real-life actors...

These games are flawless emulations of their arcade counterparts; simple online match setup and mechanics; allows gamers to pause during gameplay; helpful move list accessible while paused; three games for the price of one is still value even if one title carries the collection

As arcade ports, all the nuisances of these classics come along for the ride including unforgiving and unfair AI; online play is seldom fluid and prone to slow downs and freezing; collection does not enhance visuals or audio in any way; still a great challenge to pull off special movies and the...

Mortal Kombat Kollection Review

I am a huge Mortal Kombat fan; have been since the original appeared in arcades back in 1992. When I heard a compilation of the first three games was being released, I was ecstatic.

+ Owning all three games in one set; + Arcade filters; + Pure nostalgia

Online is just broken; Weird hiccups and glitches; Classic AI is frustrating (cheap

Mortal Kombat

Cheesy, dorky, silly in that special 90s way and totally predictable. Mortal Kombat is back - and conceptually nothing has changed. You can call it a reboot, a fresh start, a remake. Call it whatever you like. It's still Mortal Kombat, just like it's always been - and always will be.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe review

Who would have thought that Mortal Kombat could be revived with a friendly hand from DC Comics?

Similar to the classic 2D Mortal Kombat games of old; Simple, yet fun fighting mechanics; Easy to pick up and play; Solid online component; Colourful art style that blends these two fairly different worlds together.

Fighting mechanics may be too simple for some fans of the genre; Not as many extras as you usually find in an Mortal Kombat game; Fatalities are lame, which for a Mortal Kombat game is a tragedy

The Mortal Kombat series has been going strong for more than a decade and the latest entry is Mortal Kombat: Deception. It keeps the gameplay from 2002’s Deadly Alliance and adds a ton of new modes and features.

Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Review

Mortal Kombat is the cult favourite one on one beat em up series first unleashed in the early 1990's. At the time the one on one beat em up genre was quickly establishing itself as the most popular in arcades and home consoles and developers everywhere were releasing titles to jump onto the...
