Review: Mortal Kombat (Vita)
"Fatality!" "Finish Him!" "Flawless Victory!" "Get Over Here!". These are just some of the famous quotes from the infamous Mortal Kombat that everyone knows and remembers. Everyone remembers the fast-paced fighting that has been missed since 1995′s Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - it's been over 15 years...

Mortal Kombat PS Vita review
Have you ever thought ‘I'd really like to be able to rip someone's torso off, but not only in the comfort of my own living room'? Then Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita might be for you. I used to love the classic Mortal Kombat games.
Pros:
- A tonne of characters
- modes
- and challenges to overcome
- incredibly fitting for the PS Vita
Cons:
- Close ups reveal lower quality character models
- Occassional difficulty road blocks can frustrate

If it aint broken don't fix it... Exactly! While the gameplay remains pretty much the same as the older the games, the added violent x ray attacks make it even so much more fun. Based on how i feel, Mortal Kombat isn't 'perfect', but still back to the roots and better than ever for both story and...

reboot delivered the brutal fighting goods in spades, and old-school fans of the iconic franchise were – for the most part – satisfied. Now, enter the handheld iteration for Sony's new PlayStation Vita, which not only boasts all the content from the console version, but also a huge Challenge Tower...

Mortal Kombat (PS Vita) Review
I have great memories of the Mortal Kombat series. Many hours and many quarters were spent back in the day playing in my local arcade. I even remember parties in high school where a group of us sit around the TV and we would have mini tournaments passing the controller back and forth To be...

Viva la Kombat!
Mortal Kombat on the Vita is one of the most impressive games on the device thus far. There are hardly any flaws in the game, and the boatloads of content provided will give fans of the franchise plenty to do while they bide their time waiting for the next big Vita release.

Mortal Kombat Review
Despite a downsizing to the Vita and all that means, have Netherealm been able to kram all the content into this portable version of " Mortal Kombat "? With a slew of additional content and use of the touch screens over all of the console editions, is this the best version of MK to get despite the...

As fighting games go, Mortal Kombat has always held a distinct place in the history of the genre, shunning the often cartoonlike style of its contemporaries in favour of gore and guts.
Pros:
- In-depth story mode
- Revamped control system makes it easy to pick up and play
- Huge amount of content to unlock--even more than the console versions
- Challenge Tower minigames and challenges are lots of fun
- Viciously brutal moves
Cons:
- Tag team combos ruined by placement of the tag-switch command
- Shao Kahn is incredibly cheap

Brilliant but sadly no re online play
Love this game, with the Ps vita's touch and swipe it adds more to the game. Sadly online is no longer available due to Gamespy closing their servers, so if you feel that you have mastered Mortal Kombat at the highest level you cannot test yourself against any other players.
