Miele Blizzard CX1 Excellence Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner Graphite Grey

A little heavier and bulkier than I had anticipated and takes a while to adapt to correct useage but a great product from a great brand

Miele quality wins again

Excellent suction with all the different heads provided. Good with cat hairs as well as the usual particulate matter (large or fine). Our previous (slightly different) Miele cleaner lasted well over twenty years and we look forward to similar performance but without the complication of bags.

Easy to use

This product is so different to the upright vacuum I was using. I like the bagless idea and it's easy to use.

Miele Blizzard CX1 Excellence

We loved Miele's flagship bagless vacuum cleaner, but what if its near-£400 price is a bit too rich for your floors Enter the Blizzard CX1 Excellence for a slightly more affordable £299. This model eschews the electronic handle controls in favour of four-level rotary power on the cleaner.
Pros:
  • Superb hard floor cleaning
  • Very good on carpets
  • High suction and air flow
  • Low maintenance filters
  • Large
  • easy-empty bin
  • Moves super-smoothly
  • Very quiet
Cons:
  • Pet hairs on carpet proved challenging
  • Rather large/weighty for stairs
  • Cable could be longer

Best vacuum cleaners in the market

I had the bagged Miele before this one, but with having a pet in the house found I was going through lots of bags every month. I was actually looking for a new filter for my Old Miele when I came across this bag less model.

Fantastic machine, usual Miele quality

Fantastic machine, usual Miele quality. Our last Miele is nearly 20 years old, still going strong but honourably semi retired to my van so we can go bagless at home. Pro's....Spectacular suction, easy empty canister, quiet, on board tools. Cons...

Miele Quality!

I bought this Vaccumm a month ago having walked into the store with no idea Miele made bag less machines! I have not been disappointed, with everything I would expect from anything made by Miele. Quiet, smooth, powerful and typically intuitive design, looks great too!

Perfect choice for cleaning carpets and tiles

Great choice of different suctions for carpets and tiles. Great height adjustment and easy to move around. The best at cleaning high ceilings. I really like it. The only negative is that the power cord isn't as long as the one on my old vacuum cleaner so I use a metre long extension cord - apart...
