Microsoft Xbox One Slim 1TB
"Sleeker. Slimmer. Sharper." That's the promise behind the Xbox One S, and this streamlined device certainly delivers a heavyweight entertainment experience that matches the hype.
Size doesn't count
The Xbox One Slim is living proof that you don't need a monster console to have huge fun. The console is 40% smaller than traditional Xbox consoles but lets you do everything you want to do, and play every game you want to play. With its internal power supply and 1TB of internal storage, the Xbox One S is one of the most advanced Xbox models ever released.
Super clear, super real
4K Ultra HD offers four times the resolution of standard HD. Given that standard HD is pretty cool, you would have to think that 4K Ultra HD is mind-blowing. It is! It delivers the clearest, most realistic video possible. You can stream 4K content on Netflix, or check out an Ultra HD Blu-ray movie in stunning visual fidelity with High Dynamic Range.
The lowdown on High Dynamic Range
To experience richer, more vibrant colours in your favourite games, you really need High Dynamic Range. The higher contrast ratio between lights and darks means a stunning layer of visual depth is added to your games, making the experience truly dramatic and exciting.
You're in total control
The all new Xbox Wireless Controller looks as cool as it performs. The sleek, streamlined design, textured grip, and Bluetooth for gaming on Windows 10 devices, gives you greater control than ever before. You'll enjoy custom button mapping and improved wireless range, and be able to plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm stereo headset jack. This controller is not just new - it's a major leap ahead!

Bought for my sons Bday he already has PS4 but can't hurt having two consoles he is gonna be made up especially as it comes with fifa and the new plants vs zombies will be out soon
Will take some getting used to
If your TV is compatible with the 4K system, it will automatically switch over. The man is a PlayStation guy so the Xbox controllers are a challenge (completely different feel). He wanted the Forza game but they don't have it for the PS4 (the main reason he bought the system).

Microsoft Xbox One System Review
For all its purported power most all of the games I've played haven't looked that "next-gen" or even that good. 720p native graphics, crazy sharpening filters, poor anti-aliasing, limited draw distances, and even framerate hiccups (no more 60fps in Call of Duty) will make anyone wonder why spending...- Positives Nice launch lineup of games
- Kinect voice commands when they work
- great SmartGlass support
- intuitive game DVR and editing tools
- Snap multitask
- ability to play while installing
- Negatives Unappealing hardware design
- poorly designed tile menus
- lack of built-in battery on gamepad
- lack of info on hard drive or battery usage
- mandatory Xbox Live subscription for even basic functionality
- finicky Kinect motion detection and rigid voice commands
- many features like Twitch and...
Microsoft Xbox One S Review
The Xbox One S is more than a console – it's a great Ultra HD Blu-Ray player.- Slick new look
- Strong input/output selection
- Ultra HD Blu-ray support
- Enhanced compatibility with Windows 10
- Attractive pricing
- Not as small as expected
- Hardware still slower than PlayStation 4
- Cortana is disappointing
Has Potential But Lacks Development
Being an avid gamer, as soon as I became aware of the Xbox One's release, I did everything I could to get my hands on one. Microsoft always delivers when it comes to content and my previous experience with the Xbox 360 lead me to make the jump.- Great gaming
- comfortable controller
- leading multiplayer
- Clunky body
- cluttered layout
- long game install time
great value for money
Having read the WHF review I think they have been a bit harsh on this bit of kit, first of all the game pay is very smooth and picture quality on Tomb Raider was up there with the best of them and as a blu ray player I found the picture to be as good as any player I have seen costing up to £150 and...
Good console but kinect is not worth extra money
I really enjoy my xbox but it has a lot of bugs. It takes about three times to repeat myself to turn it on. The video will cut out sometimes and the audio pops when switching apps. I submitted a warranty claim with microsoft and they are sending me another console.
Great product
I bought it from Kohl's during Christmas because of price and a second one in March.. the value and price was great. Easy online purchase and in store pickup. However my kids are spoiled and they're still in the package unopened.. Teenagers!!!
