I have always been an Xbox proponent. I like the controllers better, I like the games better, I like the online community better. Now that individuals have to pay to play the PS4 online, these two consoles are more alike than ever before.
Beatiful Graphics Increased Speed Easy User Interface Effective Use of Kinect No Increase Xbox Live
Price IS a bit high, but worth it; Give more options to consumers
I got my Xbox One on launch day, so I've had about a while now to play with it and find out what I think about the system. It is an excellent follow-up to the Xbox 360, but not without some minor flaws. *What I like:* [+] The dashboard is integrated WAY better than the Xbox 360 and PS3.
As ambitious a games console as there's ever been, but the Xbox One doesn't yet live up to its enormous potential The Xbox One is a hugely ambitious console, and in time it might realise its potential via software updates. Right now it's just a very good games console.
Runs quietly; Strong line-up of launch games; Kinect is amazing in many ways; Impressive multi-tasking
Flaws hamper every flagship feature; Big; ugly box; Not the most accomplished Blu-ray player; Some games still run at 720p
this is amazing console to get and you will love the Graphics
Amazing; Backwards Compatible; Cutting Edge; Good Instructions; Graphics; Great Value; Online Play; Quality Construction
One Box to Rule Them All
The Xbox One is built using an impressive set of technology to provide next-generation gaming, while also promising to be at the centre of the home entertainment experience in your living room.
If there's one word that defined Microsoft's approach with its Xbox One when it launched in 2013, it was "disruptive." The new hardware challenged our notion of what a video game console could and should be, for better and for worse.
Powerful OS is user-friendly and built for seamless multitasking; Kinect v2's well-implemented voice recognition is a new "button" for your controller; Improved internal hardware translates to smooth game performance; Cable box interconnectivity is great for TV watchers
Limited; occasionally non-intuitive voice commands; Bulky; hefty form factor; Snap same-screen multitasking is debatably useful
Microsoft went first in the press conference stakes, but while the last press event (a few weeks back) was more about the new fancy entertainment features, the E3 showing was all about games! Though only a handful of games stood out for us in our opinion.
