Microsoft Arc Touch mouse

Microsoft's Arc wireless mouse was a big hit in 2008, and a groundbreaking piece of design. It was elegantly curved with an incongruous hinge in the middle, but this allowed it to be both portable and comfortable to use.

High-accuracy tracking; works on almost any surface

Expensive

Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Review - Is It the Perfect Travel Mouse?

Today, Microsoft announced the launch of the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse -a full-size mouse that folds flat for portability. The Arc Touch Mouse, which measures less than 15 millimeters at its widest point, easily slides into a briefcase, purse or pocket, making it the perfect travel companion for...

Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse (Black)

Microsoft's new Arc Touch Mouse features a travel-friendly design and some clever technical additions to its touch-sensitive scroll tab. Neither of those features makes it better than a full-size desktop mouse, but the Arc Touch Mouse is different enough in its form and in some of its functions that...

Distinct convertible design lets you pack the mouse flat for travel; touch-sensitive scroll tab has vibration feedback and accelerated scrolling features; BlueTrack sensor lets you use the mouse on a variety of surfaces; small USB receiver stays out of the way when plugged in

Expensive; scroll tab occasionally unresponsive; lacks heft compared with standard desktop mice; no thumb-side forward-and-back buttons

This impressively slim mouse tracks well and snaps flat for easy transport. Highly mobile users will like its design-if not its coating and click buttons.

Snaps flat for easy transport; Tracks well on most surfaces; Scroll strip is surprisingly responsive

Click buttons too stiff; Rubbery coating is a lint magnet; No side or thumb buttons

Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse

I think this mouse is a great addition for a mobile or desktop user. It is compact, and small enough to be easily placed in a laptop bag, but the mouse is still full size for every-day desktop use. The design alone is worth the investment, I think.

Smallest Transceiver; Compact & Portable Design

A little Rigid; No Case

Microsoft Arc Touch review

Like the Apple Magic Mouse , Microsoft has added touch sensitivity to this mouse, along with haptic vibration feedback and a curiously arched construction that can really turn this mouse on

Microsoft Arc Touch review

Portable, practical, good at its job and more desirable than a PC peripheral has any right to be, Microsoft’s Arc Touch wireless mouse is a superb wireless mouse. Yes, it’s expensive - not to mention a little unconventional for some tastes.

Microsoft Arc Touch review

The Arc Touch has an amazing design that's unlike any other mouse that we've reviewed before. About the size and shape of a mobile phone, it has two buttons at one end and a tapered body covered in grip-friendly rubber.

Microsoft Arc Touch

It's a stylish present for the geek that has everything, but it's not the most comfortable mouse we've used.
