Roughly a decade ago, I couldn't care less what my gadgets looked like. Squarish and boring designs? Who cares as long as it does what it's supposed to do. But ever since I got into the whole Apple culture, style and good design has been an integral factor in my gadget of choice.
Looks great, Smart design choices (e.g; automatic on/off, RF stub magnetic holder, etc., Very ergonomic
Relatively small swiping area; Price
Some of us happy to use our laptop/MacBook's built-in track pad when we are browsing the web or writing a piece of document. Some prefer having a handy, compact, and wireless mouse as a travelling companion. If you fall into the second category, say hello to Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse .
The Arc Touch is an interesting concept for a mouse, and for a certain style of hyper-efficient traveller we can sort of see the point. It's certainly the flattest mouse that wasn't already a trackpad we've ever seen.
Packs down flat for easy transport; Good BlueTrack coverage; Small USB receiver
Only two buttons for a mouse at this price is limiting; Scroll wheel feedback is a touch erratic; Doesn't entirely promote a neutral wrist position
Microsoft has always been a coveted name in the world of computer hardware and has a respectable position for its hardware, but because of some revolutionary designs from Apple and for the fact that it took complete one year to come up with the Magic Mouse, the company was considered lagging behind
I got this mouse cause I was tired of having the mouse "buldge" in my laptop bags or sleeves. Love the way it folds flat for easy storage. Although the scroll button in the middle is totally flat it vibrates to feel just like a normal mouse scroll which I thought was brilliant.
Folds completely flat for easy storage
Poor handling
I've got to say that when it comes to non-gaming peripherals that won't give you RSI, Microsoft has been ahead of the pack for a long time. The Arc Touch mouse is evidence of that, the arc shape should keep it in a position that is a bit more comfortable for extended use (so you don't get mouse...
Microsoft's Arc wireless mouse was a big hit in 2008, and a groundbreaking piece of design. It was elegantly curved with an incongruous hinge in the middle, but this allowed it to be both portable and comfortable to use.
High-accuracy tracking; works on almost any surface
Expensive
The mouse its self is about the width of a normal mouse but flattens out with a solid click to a portable size. Its quite comfortable with prolonged use and it also looks great, had quite a few comments on it and were to get one.
The Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse is yet another innovative addition to the long-line of classic designs that the Microsoft Hardware group has blessed the world with over the years.
Stunning design; Highly responsive
Not rock-solid stable; High price
