The game had many good ideas but it felt like there was something missing

We've always considered Metro 2033 one of the previous generation's most underrated games. Sure it had its share of problems; the stealth aspect could definitely have been better and the user interface was a bit too messy for its own good.

The video games industry is such an interesting place to watch trends appear and see how they grow or fail. Case in point – video game remasters that began to appear towards the latter half of the last generation's life.

Some games are about people--their struggles, their hopes, their dreams, their powers. Other games are about systems and logic. Blocks fall from above and you maneuver them into place, you twist dials into the correct pattern, or you collect enough currency until you can afford a stronger helmet or...

The AI can be heavily exploited; Some silly and distracting narrative events

Excellent game for an amazing price. This set comes with both the original Metro 2033 and the sequel Last Light. Both games come with all DLC to date in this redux edition. As far as bang for buck goes this game gives you a lot of action for your money.

Very solid game.

When the original Metro 2033 came out in 2009 it was somewhat of a benchmark for high-end gaming rigs, so naturally I gave it a go to see how it would run. What I didn't expect is that I would get so engrossed with the game that I would ultimately end up finishing it.
