Medal of Honor Review

Tim and I alternated between shooter and spotter, ripping through the incoming Nazi opposition with ease as we held our bombed out position almost indefinitely.  This was 1999 and the last time I've played a Medal of Honor title.

Medal of Honor (Xbox 360)

I've played this game on hard level with no problems at all, to me best war game from the Medal of Honor series upto now, graphics etc are top notch. I had no bugs/glitches etc from start to finish.

Medal of Honor

Today, as you read this, real U.S. forces - alongside allied nations and native Afghans - are fighting a brutal war against motivated insurgents in hostile territory. Today, in the new Medal of Honor, you can play the game based on that conflict.

+ Expert blend of "big" events and tight missions remains diverse enough to keep you playing; + Multiplayer modes are compelling as any of the three available classes

- Some mission glitches; ? When are they coming home

Medal of Honor Review

While Medal of Honor has garnered a fair amount of pre-release controversy in the mainstream press, it would be a stretch to label the game controversial (at least after they took out the ability to play as the Taliban), unless you firmly believe in the infallibility of government and intelligence...

Engaging storyline and characters; Lighting and environmental effects make for great settings; Multiplayer plays to the squad element of the game very well

Single-player campaign is very short; Some minor technical glitches in the campaign; Shooter veterans may experience some deja vu

Medal of Honor

Though it may be tempting to look at its flaws and dismiss Medal of Honor as inferior to its competitors, there is a lot to enjoy here. The campaign has its shortcomings, but its unique sense of scope and well-orchestrated pacing make it an enjoyably cohesive adventure.

Well-paced campaign; Immersive dialogue; Taut multiplayer action

Heavy-handed campaign scripting; Enemy AI isn't terribly realistic; Some incongruous cutscenes; Steep multiplayer learning curve

Medal of Honor Review

In the crowded first-person shooter market, it's important for a game to carve out a niche--do something better than or different from its competitors. Medal of Honor tries to do just that by representing a real conflict that is really happening in a real country between two real opposing forces.

Well-paced campaign; Immersive dialogue; Taut multiplayer action

Heavy-handed campaign scripting; Enemy AI isn't terribly realistic; Some incongruous cutscenes; Steep multiplayer learning curve

Is Medal of Honor the Hot New Military Shooter?

Major game publishers still seem unwilling to fully tackle the events, interpretations, and consequences of America's most recent set of military conflicts, but while EA bowed to mounting pressure and removed the word "Taliban" from Medal of Honor 's multiplayer suite, the terminology remains an...

Medal of Honor Review

EA never seemed to recover back when the guys at 2015 Studios closed up shop and quit to create Infinity Ward and the Call of Duty franchise. These guys had been working on successful Medal of Honor games, but they left due to EA trying to crush them in the iron grip of creative control, all for a...

Medal of Honor Review

A new candidate for the most disappointing game of 2010, Medal of Honor doesn't deliver on any of its promises.
