Reborn in 2010 in an attempt to wrest control of the first-person-shooter genre from Activision, EA's Medal of Honor series is pitched as the authentic alternative to Call of Duty 's Hollywood bombast.

Danger Close, to me, really is a mystery. As a game studio, I know they have very passionate people working for them, who absolutely believe they have a made a great game with Medal of Honor: Warfighter (like Kristoffer Bergqvist, who attended our Warfighter event at HQ ) .

In reviewing Medal of Honor: Warfighter , okay, I never played the 2010 reboot, but I remember really enjoying the original game, and even played it a few years later despite graphics having moved on significantly by then.

This game doesn't have a plot line, it has a story circle. You start the game with no clear intention of your overall objective. It's simply rated "M for Mature." I don't know what, if anything, was taken out, but I was looking forward to getting my 18-year-old nephew his first "Adults Only" (or at least "PEGA-18") rated game.

The campaign itself is worth playing the game. It pretty cool to play through real life scenarios. Keeps you wanting to keep on playing for hours.

Both quality games, both games for the price of one! How is this possible? They both come in separate cases, not like some of them combo packs in one case.

Medal of Honor is a good game but I will warn the campaign is short. The story is compelling but very short. But if you can pick up this game on the cheap then go for it. I definitely found the game enjoyable and would recommend it.
