Just got this installed.

The screen on our laptop has been broken since February. I was off sick this week and found a shop down the street that did computer repairs. I dropped it off and two hours later it was finished. Now the screen on my computer is better than ever. Thanks.

Review MSI Wind U135 Netbook

"The best design offers ultimate ease and joy." - is what MSI's Chief Industrial Designer is said to have stated in connection with the Wind U135. Well, we can basically verify the simplicity of handling the netbook, but joy on design is an issue as such.
Pros:
  • Attractive design
  • Very good case stability
  • User-friendly keyboard
  • Very good viewing angle stability
  • Low case temperatures
  • Low price
  • The display
  • apart from the reflective surface.
Cons:
  • Case susceptible for grime
  • Center of gravity too far back
  • Average VGA connection quality
  • Reflective display
  • Perpetual fan presence
  • Speakers' poor sound quality
  • On the one side
  • a matt display for better netbook ergonomics outdoors and on the other
  • a fan control update.

MSI Wind U135 notebook

We were impressed with MSI's original Wind, which captured exactly what a netbook was in 2008: it was compact, affordable, well enough made to withstand a few knocks and had pretty miserable battery life.
Pros:
  • Great isolated keyboard (with a small exception)
  • solid construction
Cons:
  • Right-hand shift key too small
  • screen can over-balance the device

MSI Wind U135

On the hardware side, we were pleased with the Wind U135's expansive and responsive keyboard. It's slightly let down by the touchpad buttons. They're essentially one button with a central rocker. As a result, they're not quite as responsive as we'd like.
Pros:
  • Excellent keyboard
  • Acceptable battery life
  • Some designs are quite striking
Cons:
  • One button touch-pad
  • Black version looks pretty ordinary
  • Some system instability issues

Review: MSI Wind U135 netbook

Tablet PCs garnered the majority of headlines in 2010, and Micro Star International (MSI) decided to start the year by launching the U130, U135 and U160, its first models based on Intel's Pine Trail platform.
Pros:
  • Good design and build quality
Cons:
  • The U130 offers better value for money
  • poor video playback performance

Everything works perfect, keyboard is comfortable, screen is very bright. The only thing I hate about the netbook itself is that the battery life is short. I can barely reach three hours on a single charge, lowest possible brightness and minimal browsing usage.
Pros:
  • Bright screen
  • comfortable keyboard
Cons:
  • Battery life

MSI Wind U135 review

The 10in MSI Wind U135 heralds the company's first mainstream netbook offering based on Intel's new Pine Trail Atom chips, which are supposed to be more power-efficient than the older Atom processors.
