Quite bulky

Its nearly the size of a load of bread! But runs like a dream, for two years or was it three ive been using this card to run every single game at Max or ultra settings with an average of 40+ FPS depending on the game, Talking about big titles such as Fallout 4, Resident Evil and many more I cant...

The Gaming X 6G is a finely tuned version of the GTX 1060 that tops AMD's Radeon RX 480 in most tests (and Nvidia's own Founders Edition GTX 1060, too) right out of the box.

Brawny performance for a midrange video card; Easily overclocked; Very good software and physical design

Expensive among GTX 1060 partner cards; Card is much bigger than Founders Edition; Availability limited at debut; Like other GTX 1060s; no SLI support

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G

If you are sold on the GTX 1060 and plan to buy one, it's safe to say the Gaming X 6G will be one of the better ones available. We make this claim based on our experience with the card, as well as its big-brother GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G. It's a top-notch package.

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G Review

Now that the GeForce GTX 1060 video card has officially launched, we're bracing for the onslaught of custom boards created lovingly by Nvidia's partners. The first in our hands is an MSI card with its overclocked and well-cooled GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G ($369.99). Nothing major has changed in the GTX 1060 version from the GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G board we also reviewed, except for the tiny graphics-chip heart beating within the card's metal exoskeleton. So this review will be a bit shorter than if we were examining this particular species for the first time. Just looking at the card, you can tell the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G ($369.99 at Newegg) has a lot in common with its big brother. The two cards look pretty much identical. Both video cards sport a sweet-looking red/black color scheme, along with the company's Twin Frozr VI dual-fan design with LED highlights. The logo on the edge of the card is RGB-lit and can be customized, but the red LEDs on the fan blades are just...

MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X Review

KitGuru says: MSI has delivered a superb blend of low noise, excellent cooling and premium build quality with the GTX 1060 Gaming X. Any GTX 1060 shortlist would be incomplete without it.

Excellent balance of cooling and noise; Keen pricing; Stylish design; backplate and RGB functionality

Out-of-the-box overclock should be higher; Colour scheme isn't neutral

MSI fills out its GeForce GTX 10 series line up with the GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G, offering awesome 60FPS+ gaming at 1080p and 1440p, all while being dead silent. There's some OC headroom as well, and a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. MSI continues kicking GPU ass!

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6 GB

MSI's GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X comes with a large dual-fan thermal solution that's incredibly quiet and stops the fans in idle and light gaming. The card is overclocked out of the box as well without sacrificing any of the marvellous power efficiency NVIDIA's Pascal provides.

So Far So Good

This was an upgrade for an older MSI video card. I got 5 years of flawless service out of my old MSI card. In fact it still works fine, but just will no longer keep up with the requirements of newer games.

Great performance and looks awesome

was thinking of going for the 1070 but for how much less it costs it still preforms better than I need it to

My first build and I love it

none just make sure you have room for it in your case

It's pretty good compared to my old graphic's card. It's powerful enough to run especially big games at 60 fps and it's even able to run newer, more demanding games pretty well too. My only gripe with it is that I had to have an entirely new PC put together in order to even use it.
