Great Sound
Very impressed with the sound clarity and the power of the attached subwoofer to this system. Doesn't take long to appreciate the THX rating that comes with this setup. You get the full surround sound effect playing music or watching a movie.

Tons of power, perhaps a bit too much. Have an EQ handy!
The speaker system has two satellites with dinky 2.5" full range drivers. There are no dedicated tweeters and to some degree the sound reflects that. The subwoofer travels down to just below 30Hz at impressive sound levels, sadly this is countered by the lack of midrange in the satellites that the...

I have tried several different computer speaker sets. And by far for the money this is the best sounding set of computer speakers I have come across. They are clean very loud and the subwoofer is absolutely incredibly impressive. It hits notes that larger subwoofers I have had in the past cannot.

Sound that covers all needs
I went in looking for some speakers that would cover all ranges of sound and be able to fill a room if i'm watching something with friends. Can get way louder than i need and can hear every detail of any game or movie.

Logitech Speaker System Z623 Review
Logitech astounds us on a regular basis with their ability to produce dirt-cheap yet solid-sounding speakers. We can only imagine how thin their profit margins must be; heck, that's probably why there are so few other players in this segment.
Pros:
- Inexpensive, good performance with games and movies
- lots of inputs
- discrete bass control
Cons:
- Poor musical performance
- with an overdriven midrange

Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System
The last Logitech product I reviewed was the S715i , which I absolutely love. So when I heard that they'd launched a THX certified 2.1 speaker system, I just had to take a closer look at it.

Logitech Speaker System Z623
Accessory maker Logitech's been in the speaker game for a long while, but do its credentials show through in our sound comparison? We've put its Z623 to the test in our round-up. It's THX certified and has 200W of power output, but can it take the crown? Press play, and find out!

Logitech Z623 review
Logitech's Z623 speaker set has been designed with the film fan in mind. They are one of very few 2.1 speaker sets to be fully certified by cinema audio specialists THX, which should mean movie soundtracks sound exactly how the director intended.

Speakers not up to par...
I am sending the speakers back I played them with my ipod the bass was perfect but the small speakers kept popping even on half volume. I had issues like this before with Logitech too bad as I said the bass was awesome.
