Bought on a Black Friday deal at £27....had been looking at a newq set of speakers for a bit but not gotten around to it....then saw these reduced to £27 and thought i couldnt lose at that price. I was using a Creative SoundBlaster 5.1 system which i've been very happy with...

Good Product for the Price

Writing this review on the first day, I can't say much about the longevity of the unit but at first glance: -Easy set up -Compact but not unlike professional bookshelf speakers. -Heavy for a 2.1 system, only in the sense that the equipment doesn't feel cheap.

Pros: -Fantastic subwoofer for this price and size; Played some bass heavy songs, genres like dub, techno, r&b, classical orchestral, classical vocal, handles like a dream, didn't bottom out once*.

CONS: -*the sub is a 5 inch sub, don't expect everything from it; It doesn't bottom out from what I can tell, but the mid cones on the satellites obviously (at higher volumes) carry some of the weight, which is fine at mid to low range volume but can make everything sound muddled at high volumes.

Highly disappointing

Flat sound, low volume, lack of fidelity. Bought these to replace tiny cheap computer speakers bought 5 years ago. Unfortunately once I plugged them I realized my previous crummy speakers were twice as good. If you're looking for anything more than below average sound quality look elsewhere.

Great value

I have another Logitech set of speakers, and just by looking at this one I knew that I would be satisfied with it's output. And so it was. I even watch movies and the sound is very adequate. Thanks for the sale price. It made me grab it as soon as I saw it.

Nice difference from 20W cheapys

Much better performance from the old 10w each 2.0 speakers I've had from before. I haven't turned it up to the highest volume, and I don't think I will. My first impressions of it was I thought the bass was coming out of the speakers while I was checking the subwoofer if it was working, and it was...

These speakers do the job well. Very compact for the loud and clear sound they produce. Don't have bass that will blow you away but you can't expect more out of a 5" sub. The volume control makes it easy to hide away on any desk setting and is convenient as it takes up very little space.

Great speakers & alot of bass

These speakers are quite decent for the price you're paying. The bass does have quite a thud if you turn it up loud, but wouldn't recommend that. The two main speakers are very nicely made, though one word of warning the tweeter on the top of the main speaker does not work & isn't connected as its...

Great sound quality

Bought these a few weeks back as an upgrade since my old computer speakers were on the way out. Vastly superior sound quality. Really like the volume control knob.

Good value

Nice speakers, nothing fancy. I thought they would be a little bit louder, but they're loud enough for my computer desk. Really clean sound. Sub makes enough bass for these speakers. Music sounds great, movies are fine. Gamers will probably want more thunder but that wasn't my goal.

Exactly what I needed..

I'd brought a retro record deck for my old vinyl but didn't realise how poor the internal speakers were, but it did have RCA connections at the back for external speakers. Hunted around for something that would connect - but was drawing a blank until I came across these.
