I finally gave in to my curiosity and purchased one of these when my 9y.o. Logitech "normal" mouse gave out. Gotta admit, I hated this thing at first, but now I can't ever see myself going back.
Pros:
- Smooth
- accurate scrolling
- Uses way less workspace
- Easy to keep clean
Cons:
- None

I forget how long ago I bought this - it must be four years ago or even six. It's second nature now, and a joy to use, even under Linux. They do need to be kept clean, obviously. They save a great deal of space as they remain stationary.

Only the trackball moves, not the whole mouse!
Just an excellent product for left and right handed people who don't want mice running all over the place! It is my favorite type of mouse. I think it is just about as easy to use as a trackpad, perhaps easier since the left and right buttons are so handy.
Pros:
- The only space you need for this is the space that is the same size as the vice since it doesn't move
- They are fairly long-lasting and that is a plus also
- The main left and right buttons are reversible through software
Cons:
- It isn't as comfortable as it looks if you use it for a long period of time
- After a while, the standoffs for the trackball need to be cleaned off
- The ball can be lost

Excellent Mouse!
I have used one of these for years. Great control, no moving the thing around, great for limited space desks. As for those who complain about not having a scrolling function, it is on the disk that came with it, install the software and you've got it. HIGHLY recommended!

Evolutionary dead end
I'm not saying this is a bad mouse, it's a great one, that allows precise tracking and greater comfort than the vast majority of the market.

"The TrackMan Marble. For Comfortable Surfing!"
Review of Logitech TrackMan? Marble? trackball mouse. **The Product** ~~Why I bought it!~~ I have long been a fan of the Trackball style of mouse as opposed to the tradition type. When I used mainly my PC computer, I always used a trackball as a matter of course and had a Logitech version.
Pros:
- Less wrist strain
- easy to set up and operate
Cons:
- Pricey in comparison to traditional mouse systems

Yeah! Track balls by Logitech!
These are the best thing made for computer peripherals! Use of one, you do NOT have to move your wrist all over the table to make your mouse move...only small finger movements, not the entire movement of the mouse make your curser work. Also you have the standard right/left click features.

Pros: o Extremely reliable - owned a Trackman Marble /out wheel) for 3 years and it is showing absolutely *no* signs of wear and tear. None. o Performance - excellent response and control o Ergonomic - comfortable, pretty much molded to the shape of your hand. Funny how 1 size fits all....

Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse: Perfect for all uses
When I first purchased this mouse, to replace my original, standard 2-button mouse, I was hoping for a fantastic, revolutionary replacement. I don't think I have been let down. When I first got hold of it, and set it up, useage was slow and difficult to say the least.
Pros:
- Ergonomic design
- Ease of use
- Low desk-space usage
Cons:
- Price
