Good pedals for the money, little bit too springy in the action but way better than using a twist grip joy stick.
My last set broke after 3 years daily use. The toe break electrical connection cables snapped because they came unfixed and kinked. I know because I repaired them, but it's difficult to repair and rejoin stainless steel!
This is well made gear, and makes the flying much more realistic. I can now do side-slipping curved approaches realistically, and aeros are much more like the real thing. But the software as delivered didn't work with CFS3, and interfered with my control column. It took about 4 hours of fiddling, and reloading updated Saitek software off the website to get it up and running properly. Not best pleased to get out of date software on the DVD. But worth the effort.
I bought these pedals to go with my Saitek Yoke & Quadrants. It works well, though even at maximum the tension is nothing compared to a real small plane. The toe brakes are nice and are not just on/off so allow for slight braking, the only way I've found to map them is in the third party program FSUIPC though. These pedals allow for a much more realistic flight sim experience and can help you practice your essential hand/foot coordination.
Good spacing between the pedals makes for great comfort, the tension adjuster makes setting it to your style of flying very easy, and means you don't have to put up with the feeling of stepping on a wet sponge for hours on end. Also with toe brakes on both pedals means differential breaking is possible. Comes with Velcro strips so you can use them on a wooden floor. just need to use them heaps to get me out of the habit of the twist stick rudder. oh poor me (LOL)
