This N700 is so awesome!!
Bought this 1 a couple of days ago and I was totally impressed. The sound quality is really amazing (much much better than my alienware speaker, it made my games' sound become flawless now) and it's really comfortable. My alienware M15x doesn't feel as heavy as before on my lap.

Logitech N700 Lapdesk Speaker
A laptop is seldom kept on the lap, even though these days they are so light and compact (at least regular office use machines). The simple reason is heat emanated from the base, which causes obvious discomfort.

When I first unboxed the N700 and held it in my hands, I was immediately surprised with how solid the entire structure felt. There were no squeaks or cracks as I thoroughly inspected it all around.

Best Lappad I have found
Overall this is probably the best lappad I have found. However that doesn't mean it couldn't use some upgrades. They really need to fix the padding on the bottom. It's quite hard and after awhile can be a bit uncomfortable.
Pros:
- Cooling Fan, Quiet, Decent speakers
- No Software
Cons:
- Fan is weak, Pad is a bit too hard
- No software to select which speakers to use (ie the laptops, or the pads)

Hear all you've been missing from your laptop!
I ordered my N700 online from Dick Smith's and it arrived promptly and in good condition. It's bigger and heavier than I expected but that's unavoidable so it can accommodate larger laptops. It's strongly made and the speaker covers are removable so they can be washed if something spills on them.

Great product, it does what I needed it to do.
I hold my laptop on my lap and keep an air space below it to keep it cool, but it wasn't working. It would get very hot and shut down some times. The speakers in my laptop also weren't very good. It was often hard to hear anything.
