MX Sound 2.0 Bluetooth Speakers are decent upgrade for your PC but wouldn't be our first choice for heavy music listening.
Supports up to two Bluetooth connected devices; Easy-Switch technology allows you to change audo sources seamlessly; Motion sensor illuminates...
Bass-heavy sound tends to muddy most genres of music
The Logitech MX Sound is a perfectly average speaker system for the price. It offers solid sound in certain scenarios, but can deliver relatively meager power on tracks that pack deep sub-bass, and can sometimes distort slightly.
Crisp audio performance with rich bass; Multiple 3.5mm connections on rear panel
Distorts on some deep bass tracks at high volumes; No speakerphone; Can play audio from two sources simultaneously because there's no input switch
Minimalism reigns supreme in Logitech's MX Sound, a dual Bluetooth speaker that combines a simple yet sleek design with a solid sound. Although, it lacks the punch and frills many of its competitors sport, it's one of the most portable setups.
Sleek design; Well-balanced; well-controlled sound; Motion-activated controls
Weird compression with phone and TV; No rumble; Not a lot of low end
If you want a pair of computer speakers that are easy to use, look good, and won't break the bank then look no further. The Logitech MX Sound speakers might have a wonky low end, but everything else about this speaker is a great value.
Minimal design; Motion sensors and touch-sensitive controls work perfectly; Switching between wired and wireless sources is seamless; Price
Bass can ruin certain songs; Seriously; the bass is way too strong; Plastic build
We were a bit undecided on whether Logitech's new MX Sound 2.0 Bluetooth Speakers should simply be featured in our iLounge + Mac section or whether they warranted a more comprehensive review.
I really like these little (ish) speakers. I've not been using them as computer speakers, instead, I've installed them in the kitchen and use them via Bluetooth to listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks. They fulfil this function perfectly.
Not enough power in these things to satisfy my expectations. Coming from a 10 year old Logitech 2.1 setup these were a big step down. They look ok and are easy to setup with no drivers required.
The Logitech MX Sound Premium Bluetooth Speakers are a reasonably priced, fine sounding and convenient set of speakers for computers, and other tasks where a compact sound improvement system is needed.
Good value for money; nice sound; versatile; headphone amp built in
No deep bass
Wish they were slightly smaller, and also that I didn't have to approach my finger to turn them on. They often turn on just by detecting incoming sound (I use the 3mm jack AUX input), but that's unpredictable (sometimes they turn on, sometimes I have to approach my finger to wake them up).
