For most people, a keyboard and mouse set is a cursory afterthought - as long as it's cheap and comfortable, it will do. Logitech's Wireless Desktop MK710 set has a mighty task on its hands to justify an eye-watering ￡76 exc VAT price tag.

Logitech engineering and quality has deteriorated to such a dismal low that now they will not fully warrant their products for more than 3 months. I found this out when I bought an MK520 combo and the letters rubbed off of 4 keys within 5 months and they refused to replace it.

This is a very nice keyboard and mouse. They are both super fast as compared to my 2 year old Logitech K350. I like the LCD at top of keyboard for Caps Lock which K350 didn't have. Their are several keys that do light up besides Caps Lock. It has in-curve keys which to me help and also good palm.

I've used this set daily for a month or so and it really is first class. No cursor jerkiness and the keys have a positive feel to them. There is an on/off switch under the mouse to conserve battery life but, as I understand it, after a period of non-use its auto shutdown mode triggers.

As we've come to expect from Logitech, both the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 keyboard and mouse are attractive, high-quality peripherals. We do have reservations about the keyboard's muffled typing action, and both devices are surprisingly large for laptop accessories; but they offer exemplary...

Very well laid out keyboard. Comfortable. Like the volume and music player keys at the top also. Mouse is nice but the thumb keys for back and forward pages are not extremely noticeable and sometimes my thumb can't find them.

Giving my keyboard and mouse a rest from the usual pounding gave me the opportunity to check out an offering from Logitech.
