Not as great as they make it seem

Way too expensive for what you get. Save your money and get the 650.. still their best remote hands down.

Charging station makes it convenient to keep remote stored; and fully charged. Can customize touch screen functions to your liking Easy setup with harmony app

Battery lasts only 3-4 days Touch screen might seem like a neat idea; until you end up activating something on the screen just by picking the remote up Sluggish touch screen response Found touch screen will interpret a press as a swipe frequently Way expensive

LOGITECH Harmony Ultimate One Universal Remote Control

Looks good; great battery life; easy to use when setup

Hard at first to setup

Very easy to use and set up; Touch screen works well; Charging dock is much better than older versions

Battery life is a fair bit shorter than my older harmony 700 series remote; I preferred the stop and play buttons towards the bottom of the remote as it was easier with one handed operation

"Simply Awesome"

I upgraded from a Harmony One which I'd been running for a few years. The only real problem I had was migration to a new management software they had but that was as much remembering my login details as anything.

Still best of class

Recently upgraded from a Harmony 1000 to the Harmony Ultimate. Everything has been improved. The speed at which things react now (button presses) is comparable to the original remotes for devices. Very intuitive remote.

Good remote, but a bit complicated and buggy.

After spending a good 4 days messing with it, the Ultimate finally does everything I want it to do. It's a bit finicky, but once you learn how to program it, it's not TOO bad. Here are some things I'd like to mention that I like or don't like about it:

It does finally control everything in my entertainments system...from the projector and screen; to the lights; game consoles; and AV equipment

A bit buggy at times; I eventually got everything working, but not without a lot of trial and error; Read my summary for more details

Logitech Harmony Ultimate Review: The Last Remote You'll Ever Need

Roku, PS3, Xbox, cable box, DVD player, Smart TV… the list of remotes cluttering the modern coffee table is getting out of hand, which is why a good ...

Helps simplify a complicated home theater setup with activities; finally a remote that works behind closed cabinets; lets you use your smartphone as a remote; compatible with just about every home entertainment device and even game consoles; offers a sleek form factor with backlit buttons,...

PS3 setup was tricky and required a lot of troubleshooting; the remote's battery life could be better; lots of wires and cables are involved – but most of them can be hidden behind cabinet doors

Harmony Ultimate and Smart Hub review: Logitech outdoes itself with new remotes

The Hub is the greatest addition to the Harmony family to date. While it's still not the remote we dream of, it's easily the best user-programmable option available.

Keeps physical and smartphone remotes in sync; High-quality hardware; easy to program; More reliable macros than hand-held IR remote

Relies mostly on IR; which is slow and unreliable; Programming options aren't as expansive as we'd like; No API for third-party app compatibility

Logitech Harmony Ultimate

Last year, Logitech's Harmony Touch universal remote control impressed us with a simple, elegant design, an easy setup process, and enough power to automate nearly any home theater activity with the press of its 2.4-inch color touch screen.

Powerful; Easy to set up; Bluetooth and app support make the remote even more flexible

Very expensive
