Logitech PowerPlay Wireless Charging System Back in July, LegitReviews had the opportunity to review the flagship wireless gaming mouse from Logitech, the G900 Chaos Spectrum, which turned out to be an evolution in wireless mouse design.
Look, since 2012 i started to use just Logitech products, G400, G302, G402, but all were wired and something still missing, and now G703 with wireless technology, 1ms time response and PowerPlay with unlimited battery. It is like a dream never come true, but actually it is.
Logitech's G703 features high-end performance and Powerplay compatibility in an inexpensive package, but some compromises were made to make it happen.
Comfortable (if generic) right-handed shape; Excellent wireless performance and high-end PWM3366 sensor; Powerplay-compatible
Doesn't glide as smoothly as some of its counterparts; Spongy mouse wheel; A very average; no-frills mouse
Logitech's new Powerplay system is an exciting proposition. What's not to like about a mouse pad that charges your wireless mouse as you use it? Okay, maybe the high price ($100) and the fact that Powerplay is currently only available with two mice-the Logitech G703 and G903.
Don't need to care about charging the mouse ever. So good. But include this price, I think I deserve a wrist support.
Some some reason I thought it would have more customizable buttons hence the 3 stars. Otherwise very nice mouse, bty my old mouse was a Logitech G502 which had 9 buttons that could be customized but was not wireless.
i have the white one of this one. It is a great mouse that feels good in the hand with a tip optical. It is accurate and very responsive. You can not tell that it is a wireless mouse. If you like the shape it is worth a try.
Wireless mice can be very expensive and unsuited to gaming, but Logitech's G703 is different. Equipped with a responsive sensor, lightspeed wireless technology and optional wireless charging, the G703 has it all. It's perhaps on the pricey side, and isn't the most exciting mouse to look at.
Highly responsive sensor; Great wireless performance; Can be wirelessly charged
Fairly expensive; Design is a little bland; PowerPlay is a pricey extra
Following on from last week's review, we take a look at the Logitech G703, offering many improvements over the G603.
+ Comfortable shape; + Minimalist design; + RGB lighting; + Excellent PWM3366 sensor; + Software works well; + LIGHTSPEED connection is flawless; + Supports PowerPlay; + Adjustable weight; + Reasonable price; Neutral; +- Reasonable battery life
So, I upgraded my mouse.... I retired my "old" Logitech M705 thats been tried and true for years to try the *new G-series. Elected the G703, configured and added the optional 10g weight... and OMG... a difference Yes!
