Good Controller

This controller has a quality feel to it and works well with the limited number of games we've tried with it. We initially had problems with it which seemed to be wireless connectivity issues.

5 stars

This controller is great I've been using it with the Steam big screen beta and it works well with all my games. I suck at playing with the keyboard and this controller lets you program keyboard commands to the gamepad however you want for games that don't have controller support. The support website helped me to learn how to program the controller especially for the analogue sticks which was great.

Great all purpose controller

Always found Logitech controllers to be very sturdy and comfortable, and the F710 is no exception. It has a handy switch at the back to change it from the newer X input format that most modern games use, (if you're running XP remember to download the Xbox controller drivers from Microsoft) to the older D input – which is fully programmable and means you can still play older games easily. Battery life and device range is impressive, and the USB receiver is nice and small. My only gripe is that it doesn't use the Logitech unifying reciever.

A little difficult to calibrate

I originally set this up with the calibration software that came with it. It just didn't want to work. I then found Pinnacle, which made calibration much easier. Still, in both places, it treats the directional pad like the left analog stick and the left analog stick like the d-pad.

I bought the Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad to replace my aging Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 which
Pros:
  • -Sturdy -Controls are tight
  • vibration is responsive -Excellent Battery life
Cons:
  • -I wish the receiver could store in the Gamepad itself

Logitech F710 Gaming Pad

This unit works well with all different games, and works very reliably. The programmable 'D' mode is great for using with the older games. I am very pleased.

Works perfect. Directinput & Xinput. So i can use it just like XBOX360 pad, without any driver. Analog sticks and triggers works properly. This one uses nano receriver, and looks like it'll work with unifying receiver too.

Good and confortable Gamepad.

There are very few wireless Gamepads available for the PC. Since I have 3 Logitech products on my desktop it was not difficult to chose this one. And the small wireless receptors have been working great for me. The game pad fits comfortable on my hands with textures that do not allow it to slip.

Just another reason I LOVE Logitech Inc.

Microsft comes very close to the quality of Logitech, but NOTHING beats them. I've been buying their products since the mid 90's and I cannot find better... I'm not even talking about how REASONABLE their prices are because there are a lot of products that are over-priced junk.
