Greatest Controller yet. but can be improved.

I have used my F710 for almost two months. the fell, response, and built quality are perfect. the shape doesn't really do well for me, and also the positioning of the middle button makes me accidently () press the analog mode button than the back button.

Amazing bargain

Very cheap for a solid gaming controller. As long as the path to the controller and receptor is clear, there is no lag.

Great gamepad

I don't use the mapping software the gamepad comes with as I also have an XBox 360 for Windows controller and it won't work with the mapping software. Otherwise, this is a wonderful controller that has lasted for years. Definitely worth every penny.
Pros:
  • - Switch between XInput and DirectInput - Great for mapping classic games that don't use the Z Axis controls or natively mapping to and older game
  • - Control sticks are nice and responsive, not too loose or too tight.
Cons:
  • - Wireless doesn't reach very far
  • Starts dropping signal at about 6'
  • Sucks if you want to sit on the couch, but it does include the extension cable so you can alleviate some of this

Bought two of these, one online and one in store. Both seem to need to be within 2 feet of their receiver to operate with any sort of quality. Outside this range input becomes garbled, buttons acting like they're being held down or not activating at all.
Pros:
  • Good quality
  • lots of buttons
  • configurable
Cons:
  • Very short wireless "leash

Great product

Works great with the PC! No software or drivers needed! Verified it works with Steam games, but I'm sure it works with other games too.

Good and confortable Gamepad.

There are very few wireless Gamepads available for the PC. Since I have 3 Logitech products on my desktop it was not difficult to chose this one. And the small wireless receptors have been working great for me. The game pad fits comfortable on my hands with textures that do not allow it to slip.

A little difficult to calibrate

I originally set this up with the calibration software that came with it. It just didn't want to work. I then found Pinnacle, which made calibration much easier. Still, in both places, it treats the directional pad like the left analog stick and the left analog stick like the d-pad.

Comfy couch controller reviews

Compared to the primarily console-focussed controllers here, the Logitech F710 is built for PC gamers. It has a tiny (tiny) USB wireless adapter and works very well in most games that support game controllers, since it supports the common XInput/DirectInput standards.
