I bought this to switch up my mouse use. Recently, I started getting severe pain from continuous mouse use - wrist, neck, arm (I have used upright ergonomic mice for years). Tried using an elbow lift to take pressure off my shoulder - it helped a little but once I switched to this joystick, as long...

Overall

I found this JS to be very nice to look at and to use. However,,,,,,I think it was designed to be used with your right hand ( unlike the last JS I had- also a logitech) It is supposed to have the forced feedback feature, but does not!!!!!

Gives a pilot the best flying control next to a saitek joystick, rudder and joystick combo

The best joystick i have seen used to date. The throttles is positioned in the most ideal place where the thumb can manipulate it easily. You will be surprised to see that no other joystick manufacturer does this.

This being my first joystick is not bad. A lot easier to fly a plane than with any gamepad. I even played the old x-wing game...awesome!
Pros:
  • better than gamepad for flight sims
Cons:
  • base doesn't lock to table

LOGITECH Extreme? 3D Pro Joystick

Pros:
  • sturdy and well built
  • lots of uttons to make use of
Cons:
  • springs may feel heavy for long flights
  • note buttons on left so not so good for left side Airbus use or left handers
  • Throttle has little travel so not so good for subtle changes
  • But I am nit picking here

There is no better, I've checked.

Have had this controller for at least 16 years maybe longer. It has always plugged in and worked. Have used it for flight sims and mech warriors and anything else a long term gamer can use it for and have had NO trouble with it at all. I must be a lucky one per other reviews but that's the facts.

Et Tu Logitech

Save your money. A very poor product from a company I'd till this point come to trust. It's broken as far as joysticks are concerned. Losing calibration is an understatement if you use this controller you are less playing a game as along for the ride.
Pros:
  • Stabile
Cons:
  • Loses calibration after a few weeks never to be found again
