Great Joystick
I have several flight simulator games and this joystick works well with each one. It has 12 programmable points. It's s great joystick for the price.

Perfect for Elite: Dangerous.
I bought this joystick as a cheaper alternative to the really expensive ones out there with a separate throttle component, and I have to say that I'm really impressed so far. This being my first joystick is not bad. A lot easier to fly a plane than with any gamepad. I even played the old x-wing game...awesome!
Pros:
- better than gamepad for flight sims

- base doesn't lock to table

This is a great Joystick for the price. It has buttons for days and a yaw axis. Only problem is that the throttle is a bit loose :)

***Best Bang For The Buck***
I have been using these joysticks since day one, and found them to be reliable, crisp and programmable. Ever since the old days of Combat Flight Simulator I have used the Extreme 3D Pro which is about 15 yrs.

LOGITECH Extreme? 3D Pro Joystick
Pros:
- sturdy and well built
- lots of uttons to make use of
Cons:
- springs may feel heavy for long flights
- note buttons on left so not so good for left side Airbus use or left handers
- Throttle has little travel so not so good for subtle changes
- But I am nit picking here

SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVING ITEM POPULARITY AMONGST FIRST TIME USERS
1 . SHOULD HAVE A USER HANDBOOK TO FASCILITATE FIRST TIME USERS . 2 . SHOULD INCLUDE A GAURANTEE CARD DULY FILLED AND SIGNED BY THE MANUFACTURERS . 3 . SOME OF THE BUTTONS DON'T MAKE SENSE .
