Worth paying a littler more
There are a million web cams on the market, but the old story you get what you pay for. I throughly checked out the HD Webcam C270 and ending up buying it from a dealer on Ebay for $10 less than the RRP. Very happy.

I am kind of disappointed.
The first call I made was perfect, but next day my<br />picture looked gruesome and the other person could not understand me. Something must be wrong with Skype since they told me they would cancel the video as of July 1st.<br />Any idea what I can do.

Easy to install and easy to use. I like the clarity of the camera. At low resolution you will see some noise, but it is bound to happen based the technical specs. Otherwise worth a buy.

AWESOME WEBCAM!
As soon as I bought this webcam I was completely amazed by the stunning HD and good quality. I have not returned my Logitech HD Webcam (C270) and I have not planned to do so any time soon. I would totally recommend this any person looking for a really decent webcam that doesn't cost a whole lot.

Great value!
This camera is easy to use and a great value for simple video chatting with HD quality video. Flexible enough to hang on top of a LCD TV of any thickness or on a table by itself. I wouldn't mind an ability to adjust side angles while it's hanging on the TV, but I can adjust the TV itself just as...

Logitech 270 software
The video quality is average, but the software has too many individual applications. The software hung up two computers operating with Windows 7. I had to uninstall the software and use just the camera driver to have it work with Yahoo Messenger.

Excellent webcam
I bought this camera as a cheap camera to have for my mothers PC. It is a brilliant camera and does exactly what it says on the tin. The bundled software provided by Logitech also provides users with small functionalities in order to take pictures.

Logitech C270 webcam
Those of us in our thirties, and older, will remember how much it used to cost to buy something that could make video. And of course, those same people remember how hard it was to handle, edit and share that video.
Pros:
- Cheap as chips
- great microphone
- decent detail in good light
- a doddle to configure
Cons:
- Fixed focus
- poor exposure control
- slightly distracting noise in low light
