Excellent Router

I had an old Netgear router that had issues handling anything over 8 connections. The Linksys router has handled this and more with no problems. I like the addition of the USB port for connecting a printer to a network. The router is very fast and responsive.

Many Features Priced Right Handles Multiple connections flawlessly Easy Setup

Size is a little large Cisco light stays on all the time and is a little bright

great compromise between home & pro device

great device in an area without too many rooms/walls. performance drops significantly compared to other devices in same price range if near a wall/ closet.

Expansive in its class

I have been using this wireless router for about 7 month in my home. Web based interface is easy to use. guest mode In bridging mode it gets very dump. not a lot of options available in bridging mode. All Advance features are available in router mode only e.g content filter & guest mode.

nice body finish easy to configure remotly access via internet

very expansive old firmware you cant hang it on wall

I would suggest staying away from this unit completely. Last firmware update was in 2012! There are several bugs including not being compatible with IE 9,10 or 11. You can still access the router via web-based smart wifi but not directly to router. The sollution by Belkin?

Fast; Stable; small form factor; antennas are internal

LAST FIRMWARE UPDATE? Nov 2012!!, NOT SUPPORTED BY LINKSYS/CISCO..; the few bugs will never get addressed since Linksys was purchased by Belkin and has no interest in maintaining older Cisco products, Antennas are internal can not upgrade, Firmware is not compatible with IE 9, 10 or 11, Guest...

Cisco Linksys EA4500 review

With its novel cloud-based configuration and app platform, Cisco's EA4500 is an interesting experiment, but the hardware itself fails to excite.

Simple setup; Compact and stylish design; Easy remote configuration from any browser; Third-party apps can add extra functionality; Good range; Guest network; Dual-radio; three-stream MIMO

Setup wizard assumes a wireless connection; Limited configuration options when no web connection; Single USB port; Lacklustre maximum throughput

"Started in the bedroom, now in the bathroom... thanks WiFi!"

Ok, so the title was a bit of a lie, I am not actually using this router at the moment. I sold it to a friend a month or two ago and am now using a new one. However, I wish I had kept it for myself because I really did love this router!

Dual-Band; a/b/g/n; looks great

Online management system; pricey

Linksys EA4500 review: a poor installation procedure is offset by exceptional 5GHz network performance

The Linksys EA4500 is a wireless router that supports simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi at speeds up to 450 megabits per second (Mbps) per band. It's a home router that's a little different to most of the other routers we've seen this year; primarily, it has a Web interface that lives happily in the...

Very good speed and range in 5GHz; Can be managed from a phone app

CD setup did not work properly; Sluggish 2.4GHz performance

Fantastic wireless coverage & Multi-media streaming

I have been using EA4500 since July'12 and find it a really good buy... Now all smart phones, PS3, Airplay enabled devices, NAS work seamlessly (tested upto 9 devices simultaneously).
