Router
It would have been easier if we had only one computer on the old network to start with. Also, If we would have the default name later it would have been easier to network the other computers and printers. Otherwise it was very easy.

Linksys Smart Wifi - Something is seriously not right
User friendly interface however the product is underwhelming. I am losing 3MB compared to my old WD router. Signal is dropping all the time as well

Does not reach outside house
Very good for inside the house, but if you want to use it on your deck or patio, look elsewhere. When the house door is open the wireless is spotty outside (yet still within the range of the equipment) and when the house door is closed, forget it!

Short on output coverage
The Linksys EA2700 funtions well at short distances. It DOES NOT provide full home coverage, however. Our cable enters at a utility room and that is where the modem and wireless router reside.
Pros:
- It works at short distances--twenty feet
Cons:
- Does not provide full home coverage

Slow 5 GHz performance
I get 90 Mbps down on the 2.4 GHz band, 25 Mbps on the 5 GHz band while sitting 10 feet away from it in the same room. Does not go very far due to having no exterior antennas. "Smart app dashboard" doesn't work well since being bought by Belkin.
