Great bang for your $$
This is a great router for multi- purpose needs. Quick response time as well as out-of-the-box ready for a fast set up. Took me only 20 minutes and I was up and running! Highly recommend the upgrade of this model from Linksys lower priced ones. Love the "guest" log on feature!

EA2700 Great kit, BUT IOS Smart Wifi?
Purchased on recommendation of school IT department to control student access to internet (cheapest of the Linksys range with Smart Wifi compatability. It was to replace Optus modem/router (Netgear). Great but you need a modem too.
Pros:
- Dual Band 24 And 5 Ghz
- Easy Set Up
- Good kit
- Good Range Wfi
- Very good price here
- Very Good Price On Oocom
- Very Good Price Oocomau
Cons:
- Ios Version Of Smart Wifi
- Needs To Used With Modem

The Cisco EA2700 ($99.99 list) is the entry model of the new Linksys EA series routers. These routers, in terms of hardware, aren't significantly different from the Linksys E-series routers. Instead, most changes involve software.
Pros:
- Dual-band
- Decent throughput
- Very easy setup
- Designed to work with upcoming cloud software and apps
Cons:
- SSID stopped broadcasting, which required a reboot
- Throughput not as good as some Cisco Linksys E-series routers

good router
My house have very thick drywall but this router work will. Average speed of laptop in 13 meters far away are 65 mbps. Average speed of a smartphone in 13 meters far away are 11 mbps. The quickest speed of this router is 130mbps. my laptop's adapter is draft-n(150 mbps).

GOOD product for the cost of the BEST product.
The router is quite good and especially looks classy. But since it is priced considerably higher than the similar ones it it classed I was expecting something with blazing fast speeds and robustness head and shoulders above its peers. It failed those expectations.

Stay Away
When they lose connection from the modem, 95% of the time they have to be reset. This happens wil all routers at some point, but this one is everytime.

- They have the tendency to reset themselves to default settings.

Bad Router
Weak signal strength. Drops connections. Have to constantly restart for it to work. Maybe this is just a bad one because it seems to be getting worse. I am VERY disappointed in this unit.

Not for me...
I find that this router slows down my internet... when connected directly to my ISP I can get 24mbit down 2.3mbit up... consistantly. As soon as I'm connecting through the router (wirelessly, or wired) my down speed fluctuates between 9mbit and 15mbit. Tried multiple firmware but same thing.
