Lenovo ThinkPad T460s (Core i7, WQHD) Ultrabook Review

4.4
Verdict: Lenovo's T460s is proof that even an excellent notebook like the T450s can be improved. No device from the T4x0s series was ever so light and at the same time so powerful – but users will have to waive expandability and maintainability in return.
Pros: sturdy and extremely lightweight chassis construction, precise display hinges, crisp keyboard, fast Wi-Fi performance, integrated LTE, high-resolution display with wide viewing angles, very high application performance, low noise and temperature development, numerous security features, decent...
Cons: limited expandability, no USB-C, average panel luminance, high price

Lenovo ThinkPad T460s Review: A Great Ultrabook For Personal Or Business Use

4.4
Verdict: Lenovo is claiming the ThinkPad T460s is an enterprise ready 14″ Ultrabook and while using this laptop for some time, I can see why Lenovo is using that phrase. It's thin and lightweight, performance ready to handle what you can throw at it, security for those that use this for business, and an...
Pros: Design is nice, keyboard is easy to use, and sound is great when not on your lap
Cons: Battery life could be a bit better along with the brightness

Lenovo ThinkPad T460s Core i5-6200U 128GB 14in

3.8
Verdict: The world of business-class notebook PCs used to follow a simple rule: You can have a powerful notebook with lots of ports or you can have a thin and light notebook … but you can't have both at the same time. That old notion might just be a matter of history thanks to the Lenovo ThinkPad T460s.
Pros: Plenty of ports and expandable with docking station, Surprisingly thin and light for its specs, Beautiful touchscreen with wide viewing angles
Cons: Average battery life, No replaceable battery, Touchpad still disappoints

Lenovo's ThinkPad T460s Is The Happy Medium Of The Ultrabook World

No reviews
Verdict: We've been trying out one of the newest laptops in Lenovo's ThinkPad line, the T460s , and at first it struck us as a bit of a bore compared to other devices that have come through the CRN Test Center lately, including Lenovo's own Yoga 900S. But we're absolutely not saying that's a bad thing.

Lenovo ThinkPad T460s Core i5-6200U 128GB 14in

4.5
Verdict: Lenovo has updated its venerable ThinkPad T-series with a fresh design and the latest hardware bits. It's still one of the best 14-inch ultrabooks on the market, with the best keyboard of any business laptop.
Pros: Attractive design, Extremely thin and light, Unsurpassed keyboard, Excellent sound system, Business-friendly features, durability
Cons: No more removable battery, Configuring with reasonable SSD storage space drives up the price

Lenovo ThinkPad T460s

4.0
Verdict: The Lenovo ThinkPad T460s (starting at $980.10; $1,362.60 as tested) is the latest in a long line of Lenovo business laptops . This Windows 10 PC occupies a sweet spot: modern enough to remain relevant for several years, but priced less at than $1,500.
Pros: Comfortable backlit keyboard. Dual pointing devices. Durable. Full set of I/O ports
Cons: Relatively short battery life. Battery is not removable. Lacks USB-C

Good product

5.0
Verdict: It's a really fast computer, it has a good performance, although the first thing I did when I got it was to change the windows OS for a Linux distribution, just for my job as software programmer.

Poor Service from Lenovo

3.0
Verdict: Did not ship with Windows 10 upgrade media. Required to download recovery media and purchase jump drive and then restore to Windows 10. Ridiculous process with cryptic instructions from Lenovo Site. Lenovo tech support had no idea how to navigate the process, 4 hour runaround.

Solid performer, but I expect more

5.0
Verdict: I have used this PC for only 2 weeks, and so this is my preliminary take on it. LIKEs: Very light, FHD display is really sharp and bright (I have to turn down the brightness), non-glossy touch-screen, 8 GB RAM and SSD make the responses quick.

and I'd say that 1080p is perfectly fine at this screensize

5.0
Verdict: I've been searching for a replacement for my Thinkpad X220 for the last year or so, and finally decided to go up a size to the T4-- series. Since the screen was getting bigger, I wanted to keep weight down, so chose the T460S.

Touchpad doesnt work with trackpoint

4.0
Verdict: Expected more from Lenovo, especially their Thinkpad line. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Wouldn't think that a business grade laptop would have such irritating issues.
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Touchpad is defective. After I use the trackpoint for a while, the touchpad stops working. I tried updating the drivers to the latest using Lenovo's companion app. Still malfunctions! I can only use the touchpad when the trackpoint is disabled, which defeats the purpose of having a Thinkpad
