Lenovo ThinkPad T420s review
In a nutshell, the Lenovo ThinkPad T420s is a powerful business portable that's a pleasure to use, but not exactly a looker. With its contourless, black plastic body and sharp edges, it looks like it has climbed straight out of the 90s. Open it up and things improve.

Very thin and light business class performer.
A very powerful, but still very portable and extremely lightweight and thin laptop. A very reliable construction, extremely nice ergonomics. Working hours in battery use could be better, so you′d be better prepare to purchase an extra ultrabay battery.

Still is a perfect computer for Linux
The computer was upgraded 2 months prior to purchasing from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I wanted Windows 7, as advertised. This irks me. Still is a perfect computer for Linux.

I haven?t tried removing the base of the T420s. It doesn?t have the convenient one piece removable base of the Dell. There is a cover for the memory, WiFi and WWAN or mSATA while the main storage device comes out at one side.
Pros:
- ThinkPad classic looks and build quality
- ThinkPad keyboard
- Light weight for display size
- Full feature set including USB 3.0
Cons:
- Uses 7mm storage devices
- Low capacity battery
- Most ports are at the back
- No backlit keyboard option
- Poor display for price range

The Lenovo ThinkPad T420s delivers better performance than its predecessor thanks to Intel's latest Core i5 platform, but the thin machine skimps on battery life.
Pros:
- Very thin and light
- Strong performance
- Durable design
- Very good audio reproduction
- Perfect keyboard
Cons:
- Poor battery life
- Mediocre graphics performance
- Narrow viewing angle for video
- Pricey

The best 14" business laptop out on the market currently. Very fast, very durable, and very portable. The down site is the battery which only last 2.5 hours, so make sure to pick up the bay drive battery.
