Paid a good price to have data and app's moved to the new drive. It is so loud I am sending it back. I hope it is defective and not a "feature" of Lenovo replacement drives. I will re-post will the replacement is in place.

It comes with the silly rubber side rails IBM uses; Mine came in an IBM box; It's 7mm tall, newer Thinkpads require this; Identical to the one my T430 came with

Thinkpads are not "Ultrabooks", no need to save 5mm space; Why did IBM do that It's only 7mm tall, so it means only one platter
