Machine worked great for 2 months and died

Machine worked great for 2 months and died. We sent it in to get fixed. They kept it for 2 1/2 months and ended up not being able to fix it. They then sent us a Lenovo Yoga that died in 10 months. They then wouldn't fix the Yoga because our warranty was up on the OLD computer.

Best Glue Ever!

I bought this from NCIX, but the issue is all Lenovo. The picture doesn't show the big stickers all over the 700 Miix. Yup. Stickers. Not the cling film stuff that every other manufacturer uses to brag about features, no, Lenovo wasn't gonna cheap out here. They wanted these stickers to look GOOD.

Review: Lenovo Ideapad Miix 700

At first glance it's easy to mistake the Miix 700's sleek form for a Surface Pro 4. Look closer, however, and it soon becomes clear that this is no carbon copy of Microsoft's tablet.

Add that to the nagging and unnecessary software (which you won't find on the TabPro S or Microsoft's Surfaces), and the Lenovo Ideapad Miix 700 winds up being a 2-in-1 that we want to love, but only just like.

Great device - I love it

Great device - I love it. Switching seamless between Tablet and Laptop mode is a killer for me. The screen resolution is razor sharp and I have to say that with this generation Intel has nailed it with the Core-M platform.

Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 review

Lenovo has been a trailblazer in the hybrid laptop market. Its original Yoga ushered in a new era of portable computing with four modes of use - laptop, stand, tent, and tablet - meaning laptops and tablets were no longer separate entities.

Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700

The Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 is an excellent value for the money. The keyboard gives you the flexibility of a laptop, and unlike the Surface Pro 4, it's packed in. And battery life here is good, as is portability.

Keyboard cover is included; Fanless Core m5 processor; Full-size USB ports; Adjustable kickstand

No USB-C ports; Active Pen costs extra; Non-backlit keyboard; Soft speakers

Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 Convertible Review

Lenovo has an elegant tablet/convertible in its lineup with the IdeaPad Miix 700 that overall, made a positive impression. The installed Core M processor provides enough computing power for routine use.

bright; high-contrast IPS screen; noiseless operation; SSD in M.2 format; keyboard dock; ActivePen; very good battery life

multi-thread throttling; GPU throttling; casing could be stiffer

Keyboard and Support Issues

The keyboard on this device consistently freezes and fails to registers inputs. While updating the firmware to the latest fixes this problem, it also breaks multitouch features on the trackpad (including right clicking).

For ~($) less, you get an M7/8GB/256GB spec tablet, as compared with M3/4GB/128G Surface Pro. This really sounds a good bargain. I have had a SP3 i5 4200U for less than a year, at work. I can tell you that user experience with these two are similar.
