Very Disappointed

Lenovo is a company I've recommended to corporate clients and friends in the past. Based on this experience and the fact that it was not covered by the warranty, I can no longer recommend Lenovo to anyone.

Overall a good design with one very serious flaw; I purchased this for my son

The touch screen on this computer cracked after two weeks of use; It was caused by a fall, but the screen never should have cracked; A replacement screen is available at a reasonable price, but is backordered 4 weeks! This speaks volumes about the touch screen

Lenovo Miix 510: A cheaper rival to the Surface Pro 4

The Lenovo Miix 510 is a 2-in-1 laptop to rival the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. On paper, it's a much better deal, thanks to the inclusion of a detachable keyboard and stylus pen - and a cheaper price point.

Powerful enough for daily tasks; Comes with a detachable keyboard; Kickstand design

Disappointing battery life; Comparatively low resolution; Terrible keyboard and trackpad

Still, if you're looking to eek out a few extra minutes of battery life and want something more affordable than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, than the Lenovo Miix 510 is a solid choice.

Attractive design; Strong performance; Affordable

Sensitive to light; Weak battery life

Lenovo Miix 510 Review

If you want a notebook with fast performance and a display that detaches, providing a great tablet to stream on, the Miix 510 is calling your name. Unfortunately, this machine's keyboard and battery life may test your patience.

Lenovo Miix 510

The Miix 510 is Lenovo's latest 2-in-1 Windows tablet. Equipped with a keyboard cover, seventh-gen Intel CPU and improved connectivity, the Miix 510 is a solid convertible. However, issues with its trackpad and a pretty short battery life mean that this latest Miix does little to differentiate...

Nippy performance; Good screen and stylus; Solid build quality and relatively lightweight

Sub-par battery life; Annoying touchpad; Expensive considering shortcomings

Review: Lenovo Miix 510 2-in-1 Windows 10 PC

Lenovo ‘s latest 2-in-1 PC is, like others before it, composed of two parts: a tablet portion and a detachable keyboard. When connected together, the sum total of parts that is the Miix 510 form a quasi-laptop; when separated, though, you have a highly portable tablet packing Windows 10.

Excellent display; Attractive; premium design; Velvet-like slip cover; Very sturdy hinge with ample viewing angles

Some flex in keyboard when typing; Keyboard layout requires some adjustment; Battery life is somewhat disappointing

Lenovo Miix 510

The Miix 510 comes with an Intel Core i5-6200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 520. It was among our leaders on the PCMark 8 Work Conventional test (2,820 points), way ahead of tablets like the Acer Aspire Switch 11 V , the Huawei MateBook, and the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S .

Excellent benchmark performance; Includes backlit keyboard cover; Equipped with both USB 3.0 and USB-C ports

Active Pen costs extra; Occasional fan noise

A 2-in-1 that actually works well as both a tablet and a laptop, the Miix 510 is a detachable that genuinely lets you leave your full-size laptop at home.

Attractive looks; Nice; responsive touch display; Both Type-A and Type-C USB 3.0 ports

So-so battery life; Loud fans; A few quirks in the keyboard layout

Great display, useless keyboard for touch typists

If you are like me and you use the shift key on the right side when you type, you will find that the design of this board will not work for you and you will need to replace it with a normal keyboard.

A good tablet for a computer professional who needs Windows.

This notebook/tablet hybrid has been just what I needed. The portability is great, it's quiet, powerful enough for both personal and basic work applications, and for a windows 10 computer it has given me no more problems than my high-end work laptop.
