Lenovo Ideapad 510S

The Lenovo 510S is a highly affordable, reasonably thin and light laptop that's available from just £450. With a smart, partially metal design and plenty of options for some powerful hardware, it's a clear step up from the more entry-level alternatives.

Smart design with metal interior; Good quality screen; Decent performance and great battery life

Touchpad not quite up with the best; Heavy for a 14-inch laptop; Small SSD on Core i3 model

Lenovo Miix 510 review

Lenovo's IdeaPad Miix 700 was one of the more promising contenders for the Surface Pro 4 's hybrid tablet crown. Few 2-in-1s came close to matching Microsoft's device for style, but the Miix managed it thanks to its classy watchband-style hinges that are now synonymous with the company's laptops and...

Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15IKB Notebook Review

Lenovo's 15.6-inch all-rounder has enough computing power for all common application fields. The installed GeForce graphics unit renders games smoothly. The laptop only heats up moderately even during load. A swift SSD ensures a fast-running system. A 1 TB, 2.5-inch hard drive supplements it.

matte IPS screen; Full HD resolution; SSD + HDD; Low temperatures; maintenance hatch

fan management; no Type-C USB; one memory bank only; mediocre battery life; slow WiFi module

With Intel's first series of 7th generation Core processors out in the wild, OEMs haven't wasted any time in refreshing their products with these new chips. Lenovo recently unveiled its new range of products based on these 'Kaby Lake' CPUs, and today, we'll be looking at the Ideapad 510.

Good audio performance; Easy to upgrade the RAM and HDD; Sharp display; Decent system performance

Average build quality; Display brightness feels low; Weird 'Shift' key placement; Weak battery life

Lenovo Miix 510 Review

If you want a notebook with fast performance and a display that detaches, providing a great tablet to stream on, the Miix 510 is calling your name. Unfortunately, this machine's keyboard and battery life may test your patience.

Review: Lenovo Miix 510 2-in-1 Windows 10 PC

Lenovo ‘s latest 2-in-1 PC is, like others before it, composed of two parts: a tablet portion and a detachable keyboard. When connected together, the sum total of parts that is the Miix 510 form a quasi-laptop; when separated, though, you have a highly portable tablet packing Windows 10.

Excellent display; Attractive; premium design; Velvet-like slip cover; Very sturdy hinge with ample viewing angles

Some flex in keyboard when typing; Keyboard layout requires some adjustment; Battery life is somewhat disappointing

Lenovo Miix 510

The Miix 510 comes with an Intel Core i5-6200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 520. It was among our leaders on the PCMark 8 Work Conventional test (2,820 points), way ahead of tablets like the Acer Aspire Switch 11 V , the Huawei MateBook, and the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S .

Excellent benchmark performance; Includes backlit keyboard cover; Equipped with both USB 3.0 and USB-C ports

Active Pen costs extra; Occasional fan noise

It's been over a year since Microsoft has released its Surface Pro 4, and the lack of a 2016 refresh means there's room for a new king of detachable two-in-one laptops. The Lenovo Miix 510 looks like a worthy successor to the crown. The durable aluminum design is understated, yet attractive.

Attractive design; Strong performance; Affordable

Sensitive to light; Weak battery life

Lenovo Miix 510 2-in-1 PC review: Great performance and good features

The Lenovo Miix 510 is a flexible 2 in 1 PC with a sleek design and great specs that gives you the ability to sketch whatever you'd like with the optional Lenovo Active Pen.

Design is pretty cool; the display is good at any viewing angle; Windows 10 runs smooth with no hiccups

The camera isn't the greatest; the keyboard can get annoying with the right Shift key being small as it may not be for everyone

review of Lenovo Ideapad 510 15

On first look, and testing keyboard and reviewing features it is amazing. Love the light touch to the keyboard and the slightly raised keyboard makes typing easy. Still testing out the capacity of this laptop, and first impression is this is a very good laptop. I recommend it highly.
