Good size

Like the compactness of it. Hard to hook up to internet, away from home.

Lenovo 10.1" IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 2-in-1 detachable Laptop Octa-Core Processor 4GB RAM 128GB Storage FHD IPS Display ZA6F0045NZ review

The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet is a small convertible that runs on Chrome OS. Thanks to the support of Android and Linux, there are numerous application possibilities for the small tablet.

good battery life; low emissions and silent cooling; 8 years of Chrome OS updates

UI suffers from stuttering; slow SoC; very thick with keyboard and Stand Cover; external monitor only runs at 1280x720

Lenovo 10.1" IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 2-in-1 detachable Laptop Octa-Core Processor 4GB RAM 128GB Storage FHD IPS Display ZA6F0045NZ review

So long as you know the limitations going in, the Duet is a very likeable device that offers strong value for money. Make no mistake, this is no powerhouse and the cramped keyboard won’t be for everyone, but when it comes to general computing and shorter-length writing duties it’s a lovely little...

Attractive design; Doubles as Android tablet; Comes with keyboard; Cheap

Lacks processing power; Cramped keyboard; Small screen

Lenovo 10.1" IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 2-in-1 detachable Laptop Octa-Core Processor 4GB RAM 128GB Storage FHD IPS Display ZA6F0045NZ review

Budget-strapped consumers and students with light computing needs will be captivated by Lenovo's Chromebook Duet, a detachable 2-in-1 that tops better-known 2-in-1 tablets on value.

Low price includes keyboard; Handy tablet gestures and Android phone integration; Decent cameras; Good battery life

Tepid performance; Only one USB port and no headphone jack; Cramped keyboard; No memory card slot

Lenovo 10.1" IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 2-in-1 detachable Laptop Octa-Core Processor 4GB RAM 128GB Storage FHD IPS Display ZA6F0045NZ review

Lenovo's Chromebook Duet sounded like a winner the moment we first heard about it. It's a 2-in-1 detachable tablet running Chrome OS, and though it might not pack the fastest chipset, the rest of its hardware impresses — especially given that it starts at just $280 and comes with a keyboard cover.

Price $280 feels like a steal; Comes with keyboard Not all detachable 2-in-1s do (though they should); Battery life Easily lasts multiple days in lighter use, with great standby time; Screen Impressive for the price. It's sharp and bright with minimal bezels.

Thick with everything attached The kickstand isn't built-in, it's a separate piece. Mix in the keyboard cover, and the tablet is now more than twice as thick; Keyboard cover It's not rigid enough, sliding around when closed and flexing too easily when open, interfering with the...

Lenovo 10.1" IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 2-in-1 detachable Laptop Octa-Core Processor 4GB RAM 128GB Storage FHD IPS Display ZA6F0045NZ review

Generally, when computers get down to this price there are some major trade-offs, but for the most part, Lenovo has been able to make the right calls when constructing the Duet

Beautiful hardware; Great battery life; Decent speakers

Could be faster; Screen is a little small; Keyboard magnet isn't the strongest

Great for the price.

Equal to some higher priced brands in many ways. And a genius mobe from the company to include a detachable keyboard.

Lenovo 10.1" IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 2-in-1 detachable Laptop Octa-Core Processor 4GB RAM 128GB Storage FHD IPS Display ZA6F0045NZ review

Lightweight, affordable, and fun. There's much to love about this new 2-in-1 Chromebook.

Tiny, lightweight, and portable. Affordable, yet well-built. Keyboard is surprisingly usable for its size. Great battery life. Screen is sharp and bright. Tablet mode is great for browsing the web.

Keyboard hinge has too much slack in it. No SD card support for extra storage. Tiny screen and Chrome OS make some tasks difficult. No headphone jack.

But if you’re a Chrome OS-loving frequent traveler or a busy bee seeking a smaller, secondary display, I’d suggest the Duet in a heartbeat. Admittedly, the Lenovo Chromebook Duet is still an amazing bang-for-your-buck product that’s a total star in the 2-in-1 Chromebook space.

Lasts long on a charge, Comes with keyboard/kickstand, Colorful display, Decent performance, Ultraportable design, Extremely affordable

Cramped keyboard, No headphone jack
